5 We would like to remind you of the school examination policy : Students must sit for each paper strictly according to the date and time stipulated in the examination time table; There will be no make-up papers for students who are absent on examination days; Students who are ill or are covered by medical certificates* (MC) on the day of the paper are not allowed to sit for it; and Students who are on medical leave are required to produce their MC immediately upon their return to school. Their marks will be computed accordingly. No marks will be awarded for the paper if no MC is produced. * Parents who wish for their child to take the papers during the period covered by MC must produce doctor's memo to certify that the child is fit to sit for examination. 2. Commemorating Racial Harmony Day (RHD) The school will commemorate Racial Harmony Day on 19 and 20 July The objective of this day is to encourage our students to reflect on and celebrate Singapore s success as a harmonious nation and society built on a rich diversity of cultures and heritages. The theme for this year s Racial Harmony Day is The Singapore Way. A series of exciting events, such as class activities, the display of RHD booths as well as an assembly programme have been lined up for the students to deepen their understanding of racial harmony in Singapore. During recess, students can also participate in quizzes and traditional games while listening to Singapore folk songs. Lessons will proceed as usual. They are encouraged to wear ethnic costumes (with school shoes) on 19 July, Wednesday. Students who have PE lesson on this day are required to bring their school uniform. 3. School Health Check The School Health Service will be having their visit to the school from 18 July 2017 to 27 July Please submit your child s/ward s health booklet to the class form teacher on Tuesday, 4 July Kindly also submit your child s/ward s latest medical information and provide consent for immunisation on the online portal via You are required to log in using your SingPass.
