4 OVERVIEW Introduction The Longitudinal Follow-Up Survey is conducted once every four years to gather data regarding the activities and perceptions of students five years after their graduation from WITC. The primary objective of this survey is to examine the changes in selected characteristics, employment, and educational circumstances five years after graduation to assist in planning, marketing, and evaluating WITC programs. The information in this document may be useful to help students in making career choices, to assist instructors in determining the effectiveness of teaching, and to ascertain the need for revision in various program curricula. Methodology In the summer of 0, a list was generated of graduates as recorded in that year s six-month follow-up study. Graduate responses were obtained through three first-class mailings conducted from July, 0-April, 06, which were initiated from the Administrative Office. s were sent to active addresses providing a link to an online version of the survey. Phone calls were also made to graduates to obtain an increased response rate. A copy of the questionnaire used can be found in Appendix A.
5 Summary of Responses Of the,67 graduates included in the study, responses were obtained from 8 individuals for a response rate of percent. Figure below indicates the number of graduates surveyed from each campus as well as the number responding.
