Chartered Accountants and the fraternity, via a journey over the years since it s legal inception in India, have come to occupy a pedestal of respect. CAs have for long epitomized the word professional. It is not mean achievement when the exam that you are required to successfully clear is recognised as amongst the toughest and the rigours that you are required to undergo during training recognised as the most transformative. This respect and the description of Professional is acquired by virtue of unstained history that we have received from our predecessors. It is thus our bounden duty to retain and cherish this label and pass it on to the next generation of CAs. With September past us, most of would have hoped for a little slack and breathing time from the stiff timelines. However with the extensions and the constant updated that we are needed to master it may not be so. However to quote A professional is someone who can do his best work when he doesn t feel like it. We still have a month ahead of us wherein we are required to deliver top notch professional services and ensure that the faith reposed in us by our client and the various department for a remains untarnished. The Branch is also having this month the International RRC to Singapore. We have strong participation this year and we certainly hope that this number go up in the years to come. The month ahead is also one of celebrations for we have the festival of lights. My best Wishes to all my fellow professionals, students and their families for a Happy and Prosperous Diwali! In other words, Students who have merely registered as CPT Students and Students who have completed one year beyond their Article ship training will not be eligible to register for these Conferences. Students are invited to contribute papers for presentation (1500 to 2000 words) for topics in Technical-Sessions and submit for approval a soft copy of the Paper at wicasagoa@icai.org by 30/10/2017 along their Photograph, ICAI Students Registration Number, Course pursuing, complete postal address, Mobile, Landline numbers and e- mail ID.
