1 Program Description The REACH Adult Undergraduate Program provides adult students with a flexible means of completing their undergraduate degree in a reasonable time frame without forcing students to abandon work or family responsibilities. Courses are offered face-to-face, or online in 6-week blocks of time. Face-to-face courses meet weekly during the evening or on Saturday morning. Many courses are also available online, and fully online degrees are also an option. The following majors are offered through the REACH program: Business Administration Major (48 Credit Hours).. Page 3 Christian Ministries Major (54 Credit Hours) Page 4 Criminal Justice Major (49 Credit Hours). Page 5 General Business Major (36 Credit Hours). Page 5 Liberal Arts Major (45 Credit Hours). Page 6 Nonprofit Administration Major (48 Credit Hours).. Page 6 Organizational Leadership Major (48 Credit Hours).. Page 7 Psychology Major (50 Credit Hours).Page 7 Admissions Requirements The standard requirements for admission to REACH are as follows: Minimum age 23 OR age 21 with two years of work experience before beginning coursework Proof of high school graduation or GED certification for those with no prior college experience Official transcripts from all previous college/university study indicating a minimum overall cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (using 4.0 scale) Christian Ministries majors are required to provide one pastoral letter of recommendation assessing professional abilities, character, and capacity for university-level study A score of at least 71 on the Internet-based, 560 on the written, or 132 on the computer-based Test for English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam by applicants for whom English is not the first language. A passing score on the writing placement test. Applicants who do not fully meet the admissions requirements are considered if there are factors that point to probable success. This decision is made by the Admissions Committee. Transfer Requirements for CLC Courses A grade of C or higher is required for all transfer courses A maximum of 82 credits at the 100 or 200 level may be transferred into a BA degree program. At least 30 of the last 45 credits must be taken at Trinity. Students with Associates Degrees Students with the following associate degrees from an accredited institution are guaranteed a minimum of 60 transfer credits. The degree fulfills all general education requirements with the exception of IDS 105, BI 101 and BI 111. o Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree o Associate in Science (A.S.) degree o Associate in Fine Arts (A.F.A.) degree Illinois Articulation Initiative The Illinois Articulation Initiative s (IAI) ( general education core, completed at an accredited Illinois institution, fulfills the general education requirements with the exception of IDS 105, BI 101 and BI 111.
