From Fall 2007 through Fall 2011 UTSA s total enrollment has increased by 8.5%. More than 61% of UTSA s students come from groups underrepresented in higher education. Enrollment in UTSA s Doctoral programs has increased 59% since Fall UTSA s international student population has increased by 55% since UTSA has 79% Acceptance rate for new undergraduate students. In , UTSA awarded degrees to 5,223 students. UTSA s six year graduation rate is 27% (Fall 2005 Cohort) UTSA s one year retention rate for the Fall 2009 cohort is 62%. UTSA ranks fourth overall in the total number of undergraduate degrees awarded to Hispanics in Source: Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine UTSA ranked fourth in total number of biological and biomedical science undergraduate degrees awarded to Hispanics in Source: Hispanic Outlook in Higher Education Magazine In Fall 2011, 4,459 course sections were taught at UTSA, an increase of 16% over Fall UTSA had 614 Tenured/Tenure Track faculty members in Fall 2011, this is up from 586 in Fall Approximately 74 percent of UTSA students receive some type of financial aid.
