1 1.2 GROUP A Courses (Candidate may apply for a maximum of 7 courses in Group A) GROUP A *** FOR ALL Group A COURSES, candidates should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31 Dec 2018 (maximum age limit of 30 years for BSc Nursing, 35 years for BSc Nursing SC/ST, 25 years for BSc Audiology & Speech Language Pathology as on 1 st July 2018). This college is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai where the minimum qualification prescribed is an equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study, the last two years of study comprising Physics, Chemistry and with English. For the MBBS & BSc Nursing courses, candidates should have passed in all subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic), conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board or any other equivalent examination in one and the same attempt in the subjects. No improvement marks for +2 examination will be considered. As per TN Government and University guidelines, a candidate for admission to the medical course must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, /Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% ## marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and (or Botany and Zoology taken together)/bio-technology at the qualifying exam ( ## 40% aggregate for BC, MBC, SC/ST candidates). BC/MBC/de-notified community/sc/st are as defined by the TN Government; all rules are subject to change as per TN Government & University guidelines. 4 1.3 GROUP B Courses (Candidate may apply for a maximum of 5 courses with a maximum of 2 entrance exam papers in Group B) GROUP B When not specified, applicants have to be at least 17 years old as on 31 st Dec 2018 (maximum age limit of 30 years for PG Diploma in Assisted Reproductive, 25 years as on the date of commencement of the course for Radiodiagnosis ). Ability to handle English as a medium of learning is important for all courses.
