Monday, March 7, 2016 Deadline for Submission of PRAC Proposals Friday, March 18, 2016 Applications for graduation in ConnectCarolina open to eligible students for degrees to be awarded in December, Tuesday April 5, 2016 Registration begins for all Graduate and Professional students; for Undergraduate students with 8 or more terms in Tuesday, April 5, 2016 Registration begins for Undergraduates with 7 terms in Wednesday, April 6, 2016 Registration begins for Undergraduates with 6 terms in Thursday, April 7, 2016 Registration begins for Undergraduates with 5 terms in Friday, April 8, 2016 Registration begins for Undergraduates with 4 terms in Monday, April 11, 2016 Registration begins for Undergraduates with 3 terms in Tuesday, April 12, 2016

Friday, July 22, 2016 Pre payment Period begins Important: Students who did not register before the end of the Billing Date must pre pay or provide proof of financial aid prior to registering. New first Year and Transfer Undergraduates who did not register by the Billing Date will be able to register during their orientation session dates without pre paying or providing proof of financial aid. Saturday, July 23, 2016 New incoming First Year Undergraduates allowed back in to Add/Drop at 11am Friday, Aug. 5, 2016 Last Day for Students to Add Themselves to a Waitlist Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 Open Enrollment Begins. Undergraduate maximum Course Load increases to 18 credits. Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 Tuition and fees due for all students who have registered before the Billing Date. Students who register by the Billing Date must pay or defer tuition and fees by this date or their schedule will be cancelled and all their courses dropped. Prior term balances cannot be deferred and cannot be paid with financial aid; they must be paid to avoid registration cancellation. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2016

Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 New Student Convocation Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016 Summer Reading Program Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 Classes begin for all students. Late registration begins. Note: $20 Fee charged for late registration. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2016 Last day for all students to add a course or late register using the web registration system. Monday, Aug. 29, 2016 Students on waitlists will be moved into any available seats in Fall classes for the last time. Waitlists are then purged. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016 HOLIDAY (Labor Day) No Classes Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 Last day to reduce course load and have tuition adjusted. Note: Dropping all course requires processing a withdrawal of enrollment from the University and follows a different prorated refund policy. See Withdrawal Policy. Last day for all Undergraduate students who began as First Year students prior to Fall 2014 and all Transfer Undergraduate students who entered prior to Fall 2016 (Old Drop Rules) to drop a course using the web registration system. Drop
4 transactions after this date will require seeing an academic advisor. Last day for schools/departments to add or drop a course for all students using the web registration system. Last day for Undergraduate students to file an application in ConnectCarolina for degree to be awarded in December. Official University Enrollment Reporting Date (Census Date). Hours at census will be used in the official Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) calculation for recipients of financial aid. Undergraduate Academic Progress Reports available to faculty. Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 Last day for Graduate and Professional students to file an application in ConnectCarolina for degree to be awarded in December. Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 University Day (Classes cancelled from 9:30 am 12:30 pm) Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016 Last day for all undergraduates who began as First Year students in Fall 2014 or later, or as transfer students in Fall 2016 or later (New Drop Rules), to drop courses using the web registration system. Drop transactions processed between weeks 3 8 will remain on the student s record with a grade of WC (Withdrawal by Choice). Last day for all First Year undergraduate students who entered prior to Fall 2014 and all Transfer undergraduate students who entered prior to Fall 2016 (Old Drop Rules) to drop courses using a drop/add form. Drop transactions processed up to this date will not remain on the student s record and there will be no grade recorded. Last day for graduate and professional students to drop a Fall course using the web registration system.
