2 TUITION FEES ACADEMIC YEAR UNDERGRADUATE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MALAGA SPANISH STUDENTS 13,950 FOREIGN STUDENTS 15,950 GAP YEAR PROGRAM 17,750 GLOBAL FRESHMAN ACADEMY (GFA) 17,950 GOLF MANAGEMENT COURSE 18,450 To maintain the standards expected from the institution, the fees are reviewed annually and officially communicated to the current and prospect students DATES Academic year goes from mid September until the end of June. 3 SCHOLARSHIPS UGPM SCHOLARSHIPS Scholarships are available to incoming UGPM students. Students can only apply once they get admission to the program and before the start of the academic year. Scholarships are awarded by a selection criteria and eligibility is then decided on a case-by-case basis Conditions for annual scholarship renewal UGPM will review annually the academic and athletic performance of the students awarded with a scholarship. In the event of a satisfactory performance, the scholarship will be renewed R&A SCHOLARSHIPS Higher level players are eligible for a scholarship from the R&A to complete the UGPM College program. Male applicants must hold a handicap of scratch or better, while female applicants must be 3 or below Applications will also be considered from players who have been selected for a national team or squad, even if they do not meet the handicap requirements The granting and amount are of exclusive competence of the R&A. We are proud to say that for the last academic year, all our eligible students have been awarded scholarships by the R&A

4 PAYMENT SCHEDULE, FINANCIAL AID & BANK DETAILS PAYMENT SCHEDULE Pre-registration // 1,200 The student must confirm the pre-registration within 15 days from the date of the acceptance letter to secure its place in the programme. This pre-registration fee is deduced from the total tuition fees and it is only refundable in case the student is not admitted in any of the undergraduate studies selected Enrolment // 2,800 Students must have completed the admission requirements before the end of May Full payment A single payment for the remaining amount of the full academic year must be made before the end of August FINANCIAL AID UGPM offers the possibility of deferring the full payment in instalments for those students demonstrating the need for financial aid. 5 TERMS & CONDITIONS TUITION FEES The academic tuition fees include: academic program tuition, comprehensive golf training, right to use the Club Guadalhorce facilities, locker for golf clubs, right to use the University of Malaga sports facilities, green fees for the training program or intramural league, health care and physical therapy, initial evaluation and reporting during the academic year, seminars, mentoring and monitoring of students and statistics, official gear (golf bag, technical clothing, etc...) ACADEMIC TUTORING Individual tutoring sessions are programmed to support and monitor the student s conciliation, coupling of a golf career with University education. Attendance to turing sessions is compulsory TRANSPORTATION All programs include daily transportation to trainings at Guadalhorce golf club and other golf courses. On weekends transportation to trainings and tournaments included in the program TOURNAMENTS The following tournaments are included in the programme: UGPM intramural stroke-play and match-play leagues, match-play tournaments against other university or high-performance teams, Spanish University Championship, Boyd Quaich at St. Andrews, R&A Foundation Scholars Tournament, European University Golf Championship, Professional invitational tournaments We make available to our players a service to facilitate participation in competitions outside our program that are especially interesting for our players: mainly federative and WAGR events. Participation in all of them is voluntary. The cost of these events (registration, transportation and accommodation) is not included in the program's fees. However, they are all selected and organised in the most cost efficient way possible EXPENSES NOT INCLUDED Any expense that is not included in the previous section, namely: personal expenses incurred during the stay, other golf gear (clubs, balls, etc.), green fees outside the training programme and intramural league, tournament fees except those defined in the "Tournaments" section, academic materials (books, calculators, computer, photocopying,...), validation fees for foreign university students, private medical insurance, any other fees, certificates, licenses, etc. REIMBURSEMENT POLICY Tuition fees are partially refundable in case of cancellation or justified withdrawal during the year
