The leads to prestigious Global Genius Awards with two Global Scores: (1) Global Percentile Score (GPS) (2) Global Intellectual Index (GII). GII is a derived caliber measurement score, awarded to all participants. Global Intellectual Index - GII will be available from Class 1 to Post Graduate level with specialization in optional subject from class 11. The GII is a score on the scale of 0 to 9. Schools may choose the date from the following dates depending on their convenience. 2 2018 RESULTS: Wednesday, 4 th April, 2018 * If your school cannot conduct the examination on the chosen date due to local events or natural calamities, you need to make arrangements to conduct the examination on the alternate test date. Test dates will not be changed under any circumstances as it is held across the world : Syllabus & Pattern questions mainly focus on daily life experiences and applications, based on Mathematics and Science of the respective Grade / Class. The higher classes will have questions from IT, English and Logic too. Question Paper of class 1-7 consists of objective questions only. But, Class 8 and above will have two parts in their question paper. PART I will have Objective Questions and PART II will have a single subjective question taken from Mathematics or Science. You can have the detailed syllabus and previous question papers from the download section of the website For Class / Grade 11 & 12: Students in Class 11 & 12 will have two parts in their question paper for 2018 PART - I & II, as follows. It comprises of 20 questions from (1) Logic, 10 questions each from (2) Water & Waste Management and (3) General Knowledge. Under PART II, s need to answer 30 MCQs and One Subjective Question of the opted subject (ONLY ONE) from the 12 subjects offered. ( Questions) Part I & II should be completed in 120 minutes. Artificial Intelligence is also included as one of the optional subject. Candidates can choose one from the following subjects. Use the subject code to fill the SPL. Students of Grade / Class 1 to 7 are allowed to use pencils to darken the 2

3 bubbles of the Response Sheet. Students of Grade / Class 8 to 12 should use BLACK INK PEN to darken the bubbles. Please note that answers once marked cannot be changed later using eraser or white ink. Such corrections if any, will be treated as wrong answers. Students from class 8 to 12 should answer Part I MCQs and PART II subjective question on different answer sheets designed for the same. How the score of the Subjective Question under PART - II is used: The answer of the subjective question (PART II of class 8 and above) will be evaluated only when the candidate scores 90 percentile and above in PART I (objective questions). If PART II is evaluated, those points will be added to their PART I scores. The percentile of all the test takers will be calculated again to decide the new percentile. Unique Lifelong WGC STUDENT ID WGC STUDENT IDs are allotted to s through the participating schools. The WGC STUDENT IDs will remain the same for a candidate from class 1 to the Post Graduate level. Hence, the STUDENT ID allotted to a candidate during any of the previous years won t change in the subsequent years. Students having already allotted IDs should mention the same in the School Participation List (SPL). Change of school in the same country or migrating to another country won't change the WGC STUDENT ID. Admit Cards Admit Cards are issued to the candidates for 2018 through their school. Admit Cards along with the school identity card acts as the proof of identity. Candidates can collect their Admit Card and STUDENT ID from their schools after we allot it. Candidates should paste two photographs on the Admit Card in order to print the same on their certificates. After the test, Invigilator should collect the Admit Cards from the s and send the same to us along with their answer sheets. Venue of Participating School will be the host for 2018 subject to a minimum of 100 s from the school. However, schools participating for the first time can get their school as a center even if the number of participants is less than 100, provided they take prior permission by writing to us at wgse@worldgenius.global with a copy to worldgeniuscouncil@gmail.com. Such schools should opt for question papers in PDF format only. How Schools register their s for STEP I : Collect the Registration Fee from s: Please collect the Examination fee from the participating s. STEP II: Complete the School Participation List & Consent Form (SPL) Complete the School Participation List (in the excel format) and Consent Form (SPL) with s' details. It can be downloaded from the Download Center of the website. STEP III: Remit the Fee Out of the fee collected, the school should retain the test administration expenses for the school as mentioned in the above table. Deposit cash in the account of administering agency at any of the State Bank of India branches across India. Account details are given below. 2. Use NEFT / RTGS / SWIFT/ Net banking to transfer the fee to the administering agency 3. By sending a Demand Draft / Multicity Cheque, favouring World Genius Conclave Private Limited, payable at Mumbai. (We do not prefer DD since there can be delay in issuing receipts, subject to realization of the same.) 4. Schools in India can get a further discount of 2% if they make the payment by NEFT /RTGS or Cash Deposit in SBI. This discount is not applicable for Demand Drafts & Multi City Cheques.
