1 THE CHINESE UNIVERSITY OF HONG KONG School of Architecture Professor Raymond Fung Scholarship The Professor Raymond Fung Scholarship was established in 2012 to provide recognition and financial assistance to academically outstanding students in the School of Architecture, CUHK. Eligibility - Year 3 / Year 4 students of the Bachelor of Social Science (Architecture Studies), or Year 1 students of the Master of Architecture at the School of Architecture, CUHK; - First-generation university students in the family (i.e., parents and grandparents have not received any university education); - Students who have a cgpa of 3.0 or above AND an average studio grade of B or above; - Students who show demonstrable financial need. The Scholarship Awarded to up to two students annually with a cash prize of HK$10,000 and an award certificate. Disbursement The disbursement of the scholarship will be done in two equal instalments. The first instalment will be made upon approval of Professor Raymond Fung, and the second instalment will be paid in early Term 2. Application Procedures 1. Interested students should submit the following documents to the General Office at architecture@cuhk.edu.hk by the deadline on 20 October 2017 (Friday): a. A completed application form; b. A copy of academic transcript(s); c. A copy of the result of Government Grants and Loans , if applicable. 2. Shortlisted applicants may be invited to attend a selection interview; 3. Professor Raymond Fung will make the final decision on the awardee(s).
