1 University College* 218 Brister Hall University of Memphis ( BPS in HEALTH SERVICES GLOBAL* (120 credits) Description of Program: Students following guidelines for Health Services are interested in the service professions. This curriculum will prepare online students for a wide range of healthcare positions in hospitals, health departments, health agencies, state and federal government agencies, research facilities, schools, and industry. This program is also for experienced healthcare professionals who desire to pursue an online education in order to further knowledge in healthcare management and healthcare trends by taking courses in such areas as business practices, financial management, interpersonal skills, laws, policies, global and population health, as well as the social context of healthcare. See website for more information: *Senior Project is a student s culminating experience or capstone designed to synthesize and integrate the content of a student s program of study. Students will complete a senior thesis on a topic of their choice with the approval of their senior project instructor. The Senior Project is completed during a student s final semester. All Senior Project courses are taught online.
