4 Director General s Message Education is our gateway to a bright future and our means to nurturing the culture of creativity and a knowledge-based society. Ensuring a bright future requires investing in our human capital, which has become a critical factor in shaping the development of a nation. Based on that perspective, ADEC seeks to exert more effort into developing education further, while creating best solutions to face today s modern world obstacles. Private schools in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi follow 14 different curricula in which schools that are offering the American, MOE, British and Indian curricula attracted about 88% of total student enrolment in private schools in 2014/
