II Timothy 2:15. CHICAGO BAPTIST INSTITUTE INTERNATIONAL strives for a high standard of excellence in Biblical knowledge and practice. The Bible is the foundation of our curriculum. ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURES Those who have not previously attended the CBI International should complete an application and submit it along with a $30.00 (non-refundable) fee. Those who have attended the Institute previously, but not during the previous school year, must submit a new application and pay the application fee. High school transcripts and College transcripts must be submitted with the completed application. College transcripts are required for an accurate assessment of courses being transferred to the Institute. Applications may be obtained from the Office of Admissions, CBI International, 5120 South Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, Chicago, IL , (773) All applicants must have graduated from an approved high school or present an equivalency certificate showing proof of having passed the General Education Development (GED) tests; high school level. All applicants will be required to take the Standardized Bible Content Test during the first week of class. This is a pre-test which will have no effect on the student s grades. A post-test will be administered towards the end of the student s senior year. For the non-degreed programs prerequisites are not required. Although not required for admission, at this time, the Institute encourages all prospective students to take the SAT or ACT tests. They will be used to determine academic strengths and weaknesses. These scores are also used to determine eligibility for state and federal grants, scholarships and certain student loans. ATTENDANCE Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes in which they are enrolled. Students who are excessively absent may be denied a passing grade or be administratively dropped. The Institute will allow a maximum of 3 absences in each semester and 1 absence during the summer session. Students are responsible for meeting course requirements regardless of the number of absences. LATE REGISTRATION A $40.00 late charge is assessed for late registration. Students seeking academic counseling prior to late registration should call the Academic Dean s office for an appointment. 3 DROPPING CLASSES OR WITHDRAWING FROM THE INSTITUTE If a student withdraws from a class or from the Institute, upon proper notification and approval by the academic dean and the registrar s office, a refund of tuition (only) will be made according to the following scale: Within two (2) weeks 50% of tuition paid, within three to four (3-4) weeks 25% of tuition paid, within five to six (5-6) weeks, no refund. REQUIRED CLASS ENROLLMENT Each class, with the exception of the On-Line Courses, must have a minimum of 6 students in order for the class to be offered. REGISTER EARLY. Classes with less than the required number of students will be closed after the second week of school. SATURDAY SCHOOL SPECIALS Come join us for our SATURDAY SCHOOL SPECIAL classes. These classes will meet for two (2) or three (3) Saturdays for three hours and will focus on specialized teaching and training for pastors, ministers, ministers in training, deacons, laymen, church ministry leaders, potential leaders, teachers, and all who desire to grow more in their ministry and in the word of God. This program is especially designed for pastors, ministers, church leaders, potential leaders, teachers, potential teachers, ministry leaders and all who desire to enhance their personal and spiritual growth and development.
