1 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION B. ARCH. No candidate, with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics and English as a subject of examinations at the 10+2 level. The Institutions may subject the candidates, seeking admission to the architecture course, to aptitude tests specially designed to assess the candidates aptitude; Provided that no separate aptitude tests may be conducted where admissions are made through competitive examinations. B. TECH. All Candidates seeking admission to B.Tech Degree shall have not completed 21 Years of age as on first of July of For candidates belonging to SC / ST the age limit is relaxable by three years. Candidates should have obtained at least 45 % Marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in 10+2 examination with Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects i.e Computer Science / Bio-Technology / Biology) taken together. For B.Tech (Biotechnology), Candidates who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology, Botany and Zoology are also eligible. OTHER STATE CANDIDATES Other state students should furnish the Nativity Certificate and Migration certificates issued by the competent authority. 1

2 NRI / PIO / Foreign National Candidates Candidates studying in India or abroad may apply for admissions under NRI /PIO / Children of Indian Workers in Gulf countries / Foreign National Category, adhering to the rules and regulations of the Government of India with the following eligibility criteria. Pass in Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Biology or equivalent Applicants for Admissions under NRI quota shall not have completed 21 years of age as on the 1 st July of the respective academic year. NRI financially supporting the candidates must be blood relation such as his/her Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, Uncle, (Father s brother or Mother s brother) and Aunty (Mother s Sister or Father s Sister) only, residing abroad. The candidates should furnish the following documents at the time of Admission (Please Refer Page No. 13) RESERVATION As per the norms of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India & UGC Norms COA & NCTE. 2

3 ADMISSION PROCEDURE B.ARCH: The following shall be the weightage: Qualifying Examination 50 % of Marks obtained in 10+2 / Diploma (Mathematics and English) 50 % Marks in Architecture Aptitude. B.TECH: Relevant subjects in Qualifying Examination 50% (after normalization in case of other state students) Uni-GAUGE-E 2017 Entrance Examination - 50% of Marks obtained. BCA: A pass +2 (with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Computer Science / Commerce with Computer Science as one of the Subjects) BBA: A pass +2 B.Com (Hons): A pass +2 (with Mathematics/ Business Mathematics/ Accountancy as one of the Subjects) B.Com.(Computer Applications): A pass +2 B.Sc: (Animation & Multimedia): A pass +2 3

Lateral Entry programmes Pass in Diploma examination from an AICTE Approved institution, with at least 45% Marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in appropriate Engineering /Technology. (Or) Pass in B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% Marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and pass in XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
