2 General Arts and Science Overview Prepare yourself for university or college admission. Our General Arts and Science programs offer you the chance to explore your interests, gain additional knowledge in specific subject areas, upgrade your marks and develop academic skills before applying for university or college programs. You will receive support from a dedicated team of faculty and advisors, who will guide you along your pathway. Our classes are small so you will get personal attention and one-on-one advising. You can take any of our one- or two-semester (graduate with a certificate) or four-semester (graduate with a diploma) programs in either the arts or sciences stream. Our Commitment to You To prepare you for success, our programs are designed to meet your needs in English, math, humanities and sciences. A personal student profile is drawn from past education experiences, future program goals, and your assessment scores. Our aim is to help you develop required skills, as well as support growth in areas in which you have already demonstrated strength. The flexibility of this program allows you to change direction and plans as you develop skills in certain areas and/or recognize weaknesses in others. earn university transfer credits while attending college prepare for academic demands of college and university programs earn transferable college credits in English and general education small classes and caring faculty and staff who are committed to student success lower tuition than university Transition to College and University Our General Arts and Science programs have articulation agreements with universities and within Centennial College.
