Medical physics trainees are trained in pairs, and rotations take place at Leeds General Infirmary or St James Hospital. Academic provider is Newcastle University. Reimbursement for travel and accommodation while at academic provider. Clinical engineering trainee rotations take place at Chapel Allerton Hospital and St James Hospital. Radiotherapy Physics The Radiotherapy at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital is a consortium with Stoke (UHNM) radiotherapy at Shrewsbury and all other placements at Stoke (UHNM). Visits to neighbouring s, typically of one-day duration, are Birmingham for some year one rotations. Transport between Shrewsbury and Stoke desirable but not essential.

Some of the first year training is undertaken with the other SW trainees and takes place in other centres including Bristol, Bath, and Salisbury.
