3 PROGRAM COSTS Description Tuition for full-time students (in-state) $5, Supplemental Tuition for full-time students (out of state) 7, Tuition per credit hour for part-time students NA University/institution fees or costs $ Additional estimated fees or costs to students (e.g. books, travel, etc.) $1, st Year Cohort Cost Please visit the Registrar s web site for the most up-to-date costs and fees: *Note: The Campus Fee consists of an ASUC fee ($27.50), a Student Center fee ($6), an Ethnic Studies fee ($2.25), an Intramural Sports Facility fee ($28.50), a Life Safety fee ($46), a Recruitment and Retention Centers fee ($3), a Campus Health Care fee ($56.60), a Recreational Sports Fee ($50), a Green Initiative Fund Fee ($5.50) and a Lower Sproul Fee ($35.00). Daily Cal V.O.I.C.E. fee Funding Financial support is available to all enrolled students. The support comes from different sources: Some students obtain University or national fellowships; others are supported by Graduate Student Instructor (teaching) or Graduate Student Researcher appointments. The support typically pays at least 90% of the resident fees and provides a stipend. Graduate Student Funding Information, These figures are informational only. Registration fees and non-resident tuition are subject to change, and are set by the UC Regents usually in the summer. For Graduate Student Instructor (GSI), the stipend is for a 50% appointment at Step I for ten months (August 2012 May 2013) based on pay rates for the academic year. For Graduate Student Researcher (GSR), the stipend is for a 50% appointment at Step V for ten months (August 2012-May 2013) based on pay rates for the academic year. Non-Resident Tuition is paid by the Department for the first year only. Eligible students are expected to become California residents before the start of their third semester.

It is our experience that all of our graduates who are required to obtain state licensure as a psychologist for their employment have done so successfully. PROGRAM All Clinical Science students must carry APAIT Student Liability Insurance while conducting clinical work while in residence (therapy, assessments, community work both in the Clinic and while on any Externship assignments). Students apply for this insurance ( at the beginning of the first semester upon arrival in the program and renew it annually while in residence. The Clinical Science Program reimburses the cost of the coverage for clinical work conducted in the Psychology Clinic. Copies of the policy must be on file in the Clinic Office. Current APAIT Student Liability Insurance Cost: $35.00 per annum
