The expansion of healthcare facilities, growing complexities and advancement of medical technologies has substantially enhanced the requirement of Paramedical Technician; it is worth mentionable that the expansion of medical facilities through privatization has created a great demand of Paramedical courses through which proper diagnosis as well as patient care can be enhanced to become more effective and efficient. So certainly the venture of this Institute will expand the scope of emerging students for joining the futuristic profession of Para Medical service. Para Medical Course will start its second academic session on September Our Vision To build a strong line of Paramedical professionals and meet the need of Para medics to support the medical professionals. Our Mission To help students to acquire basic knowledge and skills of Paramedical profession scientifically in a technically advanced way to render integrated nursing care to the patient. To help students to develop awareness about health and illness advanced medical care and social responsibilities.

3 The courses being offered by the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal are approved courses of the State Government and the Diplomas / Certificates awarded by the Faculty are recognized by other states as well as central authorities for the purpose of employment. The main objective of the Faculty is to build a strong line of Paramedical professionals and meet the need of Para medics to support the medical professionals. The Faculty is empowered with the authority to conduct examinations of various Paramedical Courses as per course curriculum approved by the State Government as also to award Diploma / Certificate to the successful candidates of the approved courses.
