9 Individual Fellowships For experienced researchers = must at the deadline for the submission of proposals, be in a possession of a doctoral degree or have at least four years of full-time equivalent research experience after obtaining the degree which formally entitles to embark on a doctorate (in Finland Master s degree) For researchers of any nationality (exception outgoing Global Fellowship: longtime residence in Europe (5 yrs) is required) Mobility rule: the researcher must not have resided or carried out the main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to the call Host organisation: academic or non-academic sector organisation, international organisation (e.g. university, research institute, large company, SME, industrial organisation, NGO) situated in EU/AC Project proposals are submitted by the host organisation, which is represented by the supervisor, in liaison with the researcher 9 ACADEMY OF FINLAND

13 Innovative Training Networks (ITN) Common features International network of partners which recruit and host ESRs based on joint research training/doctoral programme. Research fields chosen by applicants in multi/interdisciplinary and emerging fields of S&T. Training through individual research projects within the framework of the overall research topic. Participants located in OTCs listed in Annex A to the Work Programme may receive funding.
