MSc. Under exceptional circumstances a holder of a Bachelors degree with Second Class Honours (Lower Div.) or its equivalent may be eligible for registration provided that the candidate can produce evidence of proven research ability in Pure Mathematics. Diploma applicants: Holder of Diploma in Applied Sciences with at least a CREDIT PASS in relevant subjects from an Institution recognized by the University Senate, Or Diploma in relevant subjects with at least a CREDIT PASS from an institution recognized by the University Senate 2. Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science KCSE mean aggregate of at least grade C+ (plus); Must have a C+ (plus) in Mathematics. In addition, a student must have at least a C in both subjects from the following alternatives: 1. Chemistry or Physics 2. Physical Science or Biological Science. Minimum of 2 principal passes in Science subjects in General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level/Kenya Advanced Certificate of Education (KACE). Diploma in relevant subjects and with at least a credit pass from an Institution recognised by the University Senate. Diploma in Applied Sciences with at least a credit pass in relevant subjects from an Institution recognised by the University Senate. 3. BSc. In Biostatistics KCSE mean aggregate of at least grade C+ (plus) or equivalent examination Must have an average of C+ in the following clusters: (i) Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology (ii) Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Sciences or JKUAT Bridging Certificate in Mathematics with a minimum grade of credit. Degree, Diploma & Certificate - 20 Students APPLICATION PROCEDURE: Applications will be made on prescribed forms obtained from the Campus Accounts Department upon payment of non-refundable fees of Kshs 1,500/= for Ph.D, Masters, Postgraduate Diplomas & Bachelors degree Courses, 1,000/= for all Diploma Courses and Kshs. 500/= for Bridging/Certificate. Duly completed application forms with copies of certificates, transcripts/result slips, copy of ID and the copy of the application fee receipt should be returned to the Campus Administration Block by 17 TH DECEMBER, The Campus has three (3) intakes per year i.e. January, May and September.
