Graduation Rates Employment & Continued Education Each year, each of the 28 Florida College System institutions are required to report student outcomes to the Florida Department of Education. This data includes information on programspecific graduation, employment, earnings, and continued education rates. The source of this data is the Florida Education and Training Placement Information Program (FETPIP), which provides follow-up statistics on students. The data reported lags two years behind, but is collected in a consistent manner and can be located online at:
Assessment: Each program develops learning outcomes, targets, and measures annually. As part of the outcomes assessment, each program analyzes and provides findings related to each outcome, target, and measure set forth. The findings indicate whether the target related to a particular outcome and measure was either: met, partially met, or not met. In , the AS in Accounting Technology program either met or partially met each of the outcomes and measures.
Assessment: In the program, incoming and outgoing students are tested on the various sections of the Peregrine Common Professional Component (CPC) Comprehensive Exam. Results are compared to other ACBSP programs. The outbound results over the past 2 years are graphed below.
Student Satisfaction Results: The A.S. in Business Administration degree culminates with a Capstone course (GEB2930). The course is offered each term. Between Fall 2012 and Summer 2015, the students enrolled in GEB2930 were surveyed. The survey focused on key student satisfaction factors as it related to the course, including instructor availability, instructional quality, and instructor engagement. The students rated 20 statements on a scale of 1 (strongly disagree) to 5 (strongly agree). For each of the terms, the mean scores ranged from (lowest) to 5.0 (highest). The results are graphed below.
Student Satisfaction Results: The A.S. in Business Administration degree culminates with a Capstone course (GEB2930). The course is offered each term.
