The link will direct you to the electronic form hosted by the third-party website, RightSignature. Complete the form and submit. After receiving the confirmation , click the link for the form to be directed to Erin Travis. You will need to use your TNU username and password in order to access the TNU4U portal. If you are unable to access the portal, contact ITS Helpdesk at as soon as possible. To learn about RightSignature, you can download Step-by-Step Instructions that are available on the Grad Counseling Team Site, via the TNU4U portal (go to TNU4U.trevecca.edu > My Team Sites > Graduate Counseling Program > Shared Documents > Student Forms-Policies). For questions, Erin Travis, program administrative assistant, at Technology fee ($50) applied per course. Master s Comprehensive Exams: EXAM DATES Specialty: April 11, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. in 401. Please contact Erin Travis (ertravis@trevecca.edu) if you plan to take the comprehensive exam to indicate the time you prefer and whether you are completing a degree in clinical mental health counseling (CMHC) or marriage & family (MMFC/T). Note: Taking the Specialty Exam should correspond with the semester that students are completing practicum. After passing the Specialty Exam, students will complete the second part of the comprehensive exam, the CPCE, in a subsequent semester. The CPCE exam can be taken any of the three semesters of internship although the first semester of internship is recommended for CMHC students. Marriage and family students should consult with their academic advisor to determine the best semester of internship in which to take the CPCE. CPCE: March 24, 2018 at 8:30 a.m. in CLCS 202. This exam is only for those students who have passed the Specialty Exam. Note: Students who began the program before fall of 2013 are required to pass the Master s Comprehensive Exam; these students do not take the two-comprehensive exam (the Specialty and CPCE exams described above). GSA-NCC Exam: April 21 at 8:30 a.m. in CLCS 202. This exam is for those students who apply by the application deadline of December 5, This is a voluntary exam for CMHC students only. It is the first step to pursuing NCC certification with the NBCC. It is also the first of three exams

3 required for licensure as an LPC-MHSP in Tennessee. CMHC students eligible to take the GSA- NCC must have completed coursework in at least six of the eight required subject areas and be enrolled in the final two during the semester of the exam. A list of the eight required subject areas and the Trevecca courses that satisfy these subject areas is provided below. Application is ONLINE ONLY. Deadline to apply for the April 21, 2018 GSA-NCC is December 5, NBCC will the application link to eligible students to your Trevecca address. The next administration (after the April 2018 administration) of the GSA-NCC will be in October Application deadline TBA. Doctoral students and recent graduates interested in the above exam will now apply using the application for counselors who have graduated, which is available at ProCounselor.nbcc.org. Required Subject Areas Human Growth and Development Helping Relationships in Counseling Group Counseling Theories and Processes Social and Cultural Foundations in Counseling Professional Orientation to Counseling Research and Program Evaluation Assessment in Counseling Career Counseling and Lifestyle Development Corresponding Trevecca Courses Lifespan Development Helping Relationships or Theories of Counseling & Psychotherapy Group Therapy and Process Counseling Diverse Populations Ethical Standards & Legal Issues Introduction to Psychological Research Introduction to Psychological Testing Career Counseling & Professional Development GRADUATION INFORMATION All students completing their degrees in the fall, spring, or summer must complete the online graduation application. Students will need graduation regalia for either service; complete the online graduation application regardless of plans to participate in either service. Deadline for completing graduation application: Final date to apply for Fall (December 31, 2017) graduation: October 31, 2017 Final date to apply for Spring (May 5, 2018) graduation: December 31, 2017 Final date to apply for Summer (August 15, 2018) graduation: December 31, 2017 Access the online graduation application at On the graduation application, clinical mental health students will indicate Master of Arts as the academic program and Clinical Mental Health Counseling as the concentration. Marriage and family students will indicate Master of Marriage & Family Counseling/Therapy as the academic program (leave concentration blank). Ph.D. students will indicate Ph.D. as the academic program and Clinical Counseling: Teaching and Supervision as the concentration.
