7 o Objective 5.2- Graduate and Employer Satisfaction survey data needs updating o No updates to Objective 5.5 as of today Standard 1, Objective 1.6 Has a grievance procedure that is readily accessible, fair, and equitably applied. o Additionally, the program must have a procedure to address any complaints apart from those that require invoking the grievance procedure. The program must determine if a pattern of complaint exists that could negatively affect the quality of the educational program (e.g., cleanliness of the classroom). o Developed student complaint form to comply with Objective 1.6 (non-grievance complaints) o Review student complaint form (see attachment) Standard 1, Objective 1.2 Provides equitable learning opportunities for all students. o Explanation: The provision of equitable learning activities promotes a fair and impartial education and reduces institutional and/or program liability. The program must provide equitable learning opportunities for all students regarding learning activities and clinical assignments. For example, if an opportunity exists for students to observe or perform breast imaging, then all students must be provided the same opportunity. If evening and/or weekend rotations are utilized, this opportunity must be equitably provided for all students. o Need to revise RAD4 syllabus (verification of observation form) to include equitable observational opportunities for advance modality observation o Clinical Instructor, P. Engisch, will make every effort to temporarily reassign student to another site for opportunity to observe in advanced modality not offered at his/her site Monique working on Objective 5.2 now (completed 10/15/15 & ed to David) David will update survey data on website Monique will work on Objectives 5.1 & 5.5 before site visit in January Monique will draft language regarding student complaint process to include in Student Handbook. (completed 5/15/15) Faculty to review & provide feedback Monique will draft language to modify observation form for RAD4 syllabus (completed 10/15/15) Faculty to review & provide feedback Monique will add to Student Handbook
