(serving as Chairman of Folklore Department at Memorial Univ., Newfoundland; directing several Canada Council grants; developing liaison between Memorial s and Penn s folklore depts.; doing field work in Newfoundland). The scholarly leave of absence granted to Dr. Michael Wachter, Associate Professor of Economics for the Fall term 1976, is changed, at his request, to the Spring term 1977, with up to full salary and continuation of benefits.
