1 Articulation Agreement between Delaware Technical and Community College Automotive Technology and Pennsylvania College of Technology Bachelor of Automotive Technology Management (BAU) Purpose This agreement establishes a mechanism for graduates of the Delaware Technical and Community College Automotive Technology major to transfer specific earned credits into the Bachelor of Science in Automotive Technology Management at Pennsylvania College of Technology. Goals A. To provide a well-defined mechanism for graduates of Automotive Technology degree at Delaware Tech to begin the B.S. in Automotive Technology Management at the appropriate entry point. B. To recruit associate-degree graduates whose career goals include acquisition of a baccalaureate degree. Agreement Benefits C. Coursework fulfilled through credit-by-exam, prior learning assessment, work/life experience, CLEP, and/or College Board s Advanced Placement and applied to the graduation requirements for the Automotive Technology degree at Delaware Tech will be accepted for transfer if course fulfills baccalaureate degree requirements at Penn College. D. Students may apply up to two years prior to expected enrollment at Penn College. Upon payment of tuition deposit, students will be afforded the opportunity to access Penn College advisers and additional Penn College resources. Transfer/Enrollment Requirements Pennsylvania College of Technology will accept Delaware Tech graduates into the Automotive Technology Management major if they meet the following requirements and adhere to the Admission Procedures (Part V).

2 A. Delaware Tech applicants must have a final cumulative GPA of 2.0 (on a.0 scale) or higher. Accreditation or discipline requirements may require that all courses eligible for transfer be completed with a C or higher. B. Additional coursework completed for transfer from semesters 5 8, must be completed with a C (2.0) or higher. C. To fulfill graduation requirements, student must complete a minimum of 6 credits at Penn College for coursework prescribed in the final four semesters of the student s baccalaureate profile. Twenty-four (2) of those credits must be completed at the 00/00 level. D. Students transferring to Penn College are eligible and will be considered for scholarship opportunities the same as currently enrolled students. Application deadline for scholarships is April 15 for fall enrollment and October 1 for spring enrollment. Student must have paid tuition deposit to be eligible and must complete the application for scholarships. E. DTCC graduates possessing ASE, OEM, or Automotive Service Management Training and two years of full-time transportation related maintenance or service management work, will be eligible to enroll in the B.S. Automotive Technology Management degree offered via distance learning. Articulated Courses and program specifics For those students who meet the Transfer Requirements (Part IV), course equivalencies based on Delaware Tech associate degree program will be applied to Penn College s graduation requirements as outlined in Appendix A. Appendix A also includes a suggested sequence for degree completion at Penn College. Appendix B includes Delaware Tech s Connected Degree Curriculum. Admission Procedures A. Individual must submit a completed Application for Admission. The application fee will be waived if a paper application is submitted and this agreement noted. Application fees are also waived if application is submitted electronically during an Open House visit or by attending an official campus visit. Applications submitted online will require a $50 nonrefundable fee. B. Applicant must provide an official transcript of all college course work.

5 Degree-specific advising: (1) Students completing MAT 120 may transfer to Penn College, but must satisfy the math requirements in the Automotive Technology degree (MTH 180 and MTH 160). Student transferring with only MAT 120 completed will be required to take the mathematics placement test. (2) Other courses may be available for transfer. Consult a Penn College adviser. () Additional courses may be taken at Delaware Tech, but must be completed with a C (2.0 on a.0 scale) or higher to be accepted for transfer. Graduation requirements (highlighted below, further outlined in college catalog) apply. General advising: Students must be full-time (12 credits) at Penn College to reside in the on-campus residence halls. Students should understand the credit loads may impact financial aid. Students are encouraged to consult with the financial aid office for clarification. Student must complete a minimum of 6 credits of coursework in the final four semesters (5 th 8 th semesters) at Penn College. A minimum of 2 credits must be completed at the 00/00 level. Students completing ABM, MGT, and HRM coursework outlined above will satisfy this graduation requirement. Technical coursework (ABM) is sequential (i.e. Fall only, Spring only). It is recommended that students begin their coursework at Penn College in the fall semester.
