1 Freehold High School Junior Cruise Friday, April 15, 2016 Important Information: 1. Cruise line is Caliber Yacht Charters, the boat is The Destiny. 2. Buses leave from Freehold High School at 5:30PM, students should arrive at the school at 4:45PM. 3. Cruise circles New York City. We leave from Jersey City, NJ and cruise up and down the river. The cruise ends with a close approach to the Statue of Liberty. 4. Ship docks around 11:00PM and we arrive back at Freehold High School around 12:00, midnight. 5. Tickets will be on sale before and after school in room A202 on March 1 st, March 2 nd, and March 3 rd. 6. Tickets are $95 per person (cash or check, checks MUST be made out to Freehold High School ). We encourage dates to buy their tickets at the same time. 8. Survey MUST be completed prior to buying Cruise ticket. ( 9. For more information contact Ms. Pesco at dpesco@frhsd.com.
2 Freehold High School Freehold, New Jersey Rules for Junior Cruise 1. The Junior Cruise is a school function sanctioned by the FRHSD Board of Education. All Board of Education policies, rules and regulations will be strictly enforced. 2. Anyone suspected of being under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will be prohibited from attending the Junior Cruise with parent/guardian notified and appropriate disciplinary action taken. 3. This is a non smoking event for students and guests. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the ship. Students who violate this policy will be subject to discipline defined in the Student/Parent Handbook. 4. No refunds will be given if a student is requested to leave the cruise. 5. Students must be in school on the day of the cruise, NO EXCEPTIONS. 6. NO ONE will be dismissed from school before the 2:05 PM bell. If you arrive late to school on Friday, you will not be permitted to attend the cruise. 7. Students may invite a guest of their choice provided that the guest is a high school student and/or no older than 20 years of age. All guests are subject to the approval of the building principal. All outside guests must have an approved permission slip in order to attend the Junior Cruise. 8. The advisor MUST be notified of any changes in escort/date. The principal or designee must approve any changes if your date is not a student at Freehold High School. 9. The purchaser of the bid and his/her date must be cleared of all fines owed to Freehold High School prior to purchasing the bid. 10. Proper attire is expected. Men must wear a shirt and tie, sneakers or shorts are not permitted. A student NOT appropriately dressed will not be allowed on the cruise. The parent or guardian will be informed and will be responsible for picking up the student. Due to the nature of this event, it is not advisable for females to wear long dresses or high heeled shoes. 11. The bus will leave for the cruise ship promptly at 5:30 PM. Students should arrive at the school at 4:45 PM. 12. The bus will return to the school between 12:00 and 12:30 AM. 13. All guests are required to present a photo ID upon request. An administrator can refuse your admission if you DO NOT have identification.
3 2016 JUNIOR CRUISE CHECKLIST Please use this checklist as a reference so you are able to get your cruise ticket. Tickets will be sold before and after school in room A202 on March 1 st, March 2 nd, and March 3 rd. If there are any questions, please see Ms. Pesco or dpesco@frhsd.com. CHECK (made payable to Freehold High School) or CASH in the exact amount of $95.00 (for one ticket) or $ (for two tickets). Freehold High School Student and Parent/Guardian Contract Signed There are TWO copies of the Student/Parent Contract in this packet. YOU must fill out the copy labeled FHS JUNIORS. If you are taking a Freehold Boro student as a date, he/she must complete the contract labeled FHS GUEST. If your guest is a FREEHOLD HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR, he/she will fill out his/her own packet and you do not need to have a second contract signed. Outside Guest Contract Signed (if applicable) If your guest DOES NOT go to FREEHOLD HIGH SCHOOL, he/she is to fill out the OUTSIDE GUEST contract. All fines paid to Main Office and Media Center (of student and guest) Fines will be posted on the window of the main office. Please check prior to purchasing ticket(s). Completed the survey on You MUST complete this survey BEFORE buying your bid. If you do not complete it, you will not be able to buy a bid until you do. You will fill out your information and your date s information (if he/she is not a FHS Junior).

I understand that I must be in school on the next regularly scheduled school day. I will not serve alcoholic beverages before the Junior Cruise to any student who will be attending the cruise. 2. I understand that no refunds will be given once the bid is purchased. 3. I understand that my son/daughter may not attend this event unless this form is returned to Ms. Pesco, the class advisor, when the cruise bid is purchased. I further understand that a parental signature is required even though the student may be eighteen years of age and that guests from other schools must obtain a parental signature as well.
