Online classes require that you... Possess strong time management skills. You will need to organize your schedule to meet assignment deadlines. Communicate frequently with your instructor and fellow classmates. This means you must know how to access your student . Plan on putting aside the same amount of time for your online course as you would for a face-to-face course. In fact, online courses can be even more demanding of your time, so be prepared. Log onto Canvas, your course management site, at least weekly to read new announcements, complete discussion boards, track assignments, etc. Online classes do have an attendance requirement that is demonstrated through your participation on the site as well as through submission of assignments. Have access to a reliable, up to date computer with a high speed internet connection and word processing software. Be proactive and seek help when needed.
