1 OKLAHOMA GROCERS EDUCATION FOUNDATION APPLICATION PROCEDURE Applications may be typed or handwritten, must be completed in full, and be accompanied by the required documentation. Remember that the applicant is responsible for making sure that all requested documents reach Oklahoma Grocers Education Foundation. 1. High School Seniors: a. Complete and process the enclosed High School Transcripts Request From as directed. b. Complete all pages of this application. c. Mail to the address indicated postmarked by March 1 st. 2. College Students: a. Complete and process the enclosed High School Transcripts Request From as directed. If you have applied for an Oklahoma Grocers Education Foundation Scholarship in prior years you will still need to send in a new High School Transcript. b. Complete all pages of this application. c. Include a current official transcript of your grades from the college you are attending. NOTE: A grade report is not an official transcript. d. Send a college transcript from all of the colleges you have attended in the past. (If your college transcript(s) is not included with the application, we assume it is being mailed by your college.) e. Mail to the address indicated postmarked by March 1 st. DEADLINE Completed applications with all transcripts must be received at the OGA office postmarked no later than March 1 st. The mailing address is Oklahoma Grocers Education Foundation, PO Box 18716, Oklahoma City, OK APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY Eligible applicants must be a High School Senior, College Freshmen, Sophomore, or Junior who will be enrolled as a full-time student in the fall and are one of the following: 1. Children of full time employees of an OGA Member. The employee must be employed for at least two years as of January 1st. 2. Part-time student employees of an OGA Member. The student employee must be employed for at least one year as of January 1st. ELDEN G. ROSCHER SCHOLARSHIP This is a $1,500 Scholarship which is available to college seniors planning to attend graduate school in a subject related to the food industry. NOTIFICATION OF RECIPIENTS Recipients of scholarships awards will be notified by the Oklahoma Grocers Education Foundation by April 15 th.
