Alumni Association Activities conducted in July Alumni from foundation batch of Electronics Engineering of G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur visited department on 6 th July Mr. Riyaz Mulla, Sub Divisional Engineer at BSNL, Pune & Mr. Rahul Gudadhe, Founder and CEO at BALLOONATION.COM, New Delhi interacted with final year students. Very practical & interactive talk was given by them about career & stress handling in life. This was self service offered by these alumni in memory of one of their classmate Mr. Kishor Zode who recently died because of cancer. The overall event was guided by head of the department Dr. S. S. Dorle.

2 Department of Informaton Technology,G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur had organized Expert Lecture on the topic Cloud Computing on 10 th July 2015 for V semester students. The speaker was Mr. Paras Bhatt, software engineer, Persistent Systems Pvt. Ltd., student alumni, G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur. The lecture given by him was appreciated by students because of his way of conveying and putting up his points in more understandable form. The approach to the topic and suitable examples given by him attracted the attention of students. The lecture mainly focused on expressing what cloud computing is, which companies are currently working on this platform. He also demonstrated how to implement cloud computing. It was a very interactive session and students participated with full zeal. The students and staff found the session informative and impressive. It is very well coordinated by Prof. K. K. Wankhade & Prof. G. S. Khekare.

3 One Step more Career counseling seminar organized by Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Department under Alumni Cell A career guidance and counseling program develops an individual's competencies in selfknowledge, educational and occupational exploration, and the right career planning. On July 15, 2015 Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering organized career counseling seminar for VII semester to facilitate student s potentials to equip them with functional knowledge, values and attitudes, desirable habits and skills needed by them to cope up with the changes in their environment. Mr. Saurabh Gupta (Software Analyst, Accenture, Hyderabad) and Mr. Roshan Mahant (Software Analyst, TCS, Pune) alumni of the department enlightened students on various career opportunities. They also helped students in coming up with personal career goal and narrow down the list of the careers based on their strengths.

4 Guest Lecture by Alumni for 5 th SEM Electrical Engineering Students A guest lecture on how to prepare for competitive exams was delivered by Mr.Diwakar Pandey (2011 pass out student of Electrical Engineering Department) on 25/07/2015. Mr.Diwakar Pandey has appeared for many competitive exams, also he is running institute for competitive examination. He interacted with the students of 5 th Semester and gave them many tips & tricks on how to crack competitive exams.

5 Mr.Niraj Tiwari (Sr.manager, Engine section, Mahindra & Mahindra Nagpur) alumni of mechanical engineering department delivered a guest lecture on "carrier opportunity in automotive industry for M.Tech ( HPE) first and third semester students on 29/07/2015. Head of the department Dr. P. V. Walke, Prof S.R.Karale were present along-with students of M.Tech.

6 Industrial Visit to HEAT TREAT WELL,MIDC,NAGPUR. The department of Mechanical Engineering of G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur has organized Industrial Visit to HEAT TREAT WELL, MIDC, NAGPUR, for students of third semester B.E. Mechanical sec.-a, on 21 th July 15. 7 CSE department has organized Guest Lecture on Recent trends in Cyber Security, by Mr. Ashish Handa. Computer science engineering of G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering has organized Guest Lecture on Recent trends in Cyber Security, by alumni Mr. Ashish Handa for Seventh semester and ME and M Tech First and Third Semester students on date 29 July 2015.Total sixty students are present at Guest lecture. Mr. Ashish Handa is Founder CTO, Managing Director at GenXCoders, Nagpur. GenXcoders established in 2008 providing Cyber Security consultation to Nagpur Police, Cyber Crime Department, ATA Mumbai, Special Cell Delhi and Central Command of Indian Army Jabalpur. His Company provides ERP solutions for education sectors, has twenty seven products of his own, He has an advertisement portal by the name His company provides training and internship to engineering students. His company is launching soon state wide and the nationwide portal for medical services by the name He has his head offices at Nagpur, Corporate Branch offices at Amrawati, Pune, Mumbai, Jabalpur, and Ranchi. Guest lecture is scheduled for seventh semester and all M Tech I & III semester Branch student. He has given deep and detail information about recent trends in Cyber security and its worldwide application..
