5 ACPE Academy Blog The ACPE Academy Blog provides a range of exercise and fitness career advice suitable to anyone thinking about exploring a career within the fitness industry. CIRO Indigenous Cadetship The Indigenous Cadetship Program allows students to undertake an undergraduate degree and do a 12-week paid work placement with the CSIRO each year, as well as have the opportunity to apply for positions at the CSIRO upon graduation. The Green Army The Green Army is an Australian Government initiative open to young people including Indigenous Australians, school leavers, gap year students, graduates, and job seekers who are looking for employment to develop skills, undertake training and gain experience in the delivery of conservation. View current projects at: Grieve Writing Competition 2017 The Grieve Writing Competition 2017 invites entries of prose up to 500 words and poetry to 36 lines. Applications are now open and close 16 th June Australian STEM Video Game Challenge High school students design, create and test a video game that engages with STEM to submit to the competition. This year s theme is Reaction. The challenge runs until Fri 25 th August. UN Youth Australia s Development Summit Brings together young Australians in five cities to understand what development means and explore current issues in the field. CG Spectrum: Introduction to Concept Art This course is required for students who wish to study a Diploma of Concept Art and Illustration at CG Spectrum who don t have a portfolio. It helps prospective students achieve the portfolio requirement and learn basic skills they ll require during the course. You can start online today. Real Stories and Real Achievements Videos These videos, put out by the Australian Training Awards, can provide inspiration to people looking to follow a particular skill or apprenticeship pathway. The Red Shield Appeal 27 th and 28 th May 2017 The annual Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal is on again and looking for volunteers to help door knock. Engineering Employment Market Update Webinar Online: Thu 19 th October, 1pm 2pm This webinar will investigate trends in the current engineering employment market. International Student Admissions Test (ISAT)
