1 CENTRE FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT & PANCHAYATI RAJ A three day s training cum exposure visit on Swachh Bharat Mission was organized from 07 th to 09 th November 2016 under the course coordinator ship of Dr. Ruchi Gupta. The participants included District Panchayat Officers, Block development officers and Inspector Panchayats of Rural development department. The training programme provided guidance to the participants for effective planning and implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission (rural) and also sensitized them about the innovations in rural sanitation which are being practised at various parts of the country. Since Himachal Pradesh is one of the leading States in Swachh Bharat Mission, and also being our neighbouring State with similar topography, an external resource person from Himachal Institute of Public Administration Shimla Mr. Ravinder Kumar was invited for experience sharing with our participants. Also, an exposure visit was conducted to Bharda Kalan panchayat of Akhnoor block where pilot project on Zero waste management is being implemented. Two courses on Swachh Bharat Mission were conducted for School Head masters and teachers wef to and to A total of 55 participants attended the courses. The participants were familiarized with effective methods and tools of behavioural change communication among children so as to inculcate hygienic habits among children and develop them as change agents towards Swachh Bharat.

5 ICT Tools For Data base Applications in Rural Development(21 st -25 th Nov, 2016) A five days training programme on ICT Tools for Database applications in rural Development was organized by IMPARD& NIRD under the course coordinatorship of Prof Reva Sharma, Director Trainings & Dr Rajeshwar Kadari faculty member from NIRD& PR, Hyderabad. In all 27 officers from Rural Development, Agriculture, Forests, Irrigation and J&K IMPARD attended this programme. The programme was designed keeping in view the following objectives: To enhance the participants technical knowledge and skills in rural development planning and management using information and communication Technologies (ICT). To develop skills in utilizing back end and fron end tools for database applications in rural development To enable them to manage database security and privacy.
6 CENTRE FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE & ADMINISTRATIVE REFORMS Leadership Skills for Higher and Middle Level Administrators(17th-19 th ) Oct, Three days training programme on Leadership skills for higher and middle level Administrators was organized under the course coordinator ship of Dr Sunita Zalpuri, and was attended by 14 senior level officers from different departments of J&K Govt. Besides Prof Sunita Zalpuri, Prof Indu Aima Retd. prof J&K IMPARD and Dr. Jaya Bhasin Associate prof from Central University of Jammu interacted with the participants. The programme focussed on Leadership development challenges faced by government agencies and what leadership competencies are required in a govt set up in the light of new level of transparency generational shifts, technological advancements and revenue challenges and the focus was on developing the self awareness and increasing personal leadership fluency
7 Gender Issues (26-28 th Oct, 2016) The programme has been designed for the benefit of officers of J&K Govt with a view to discuss issues related to to gender analytical framework and interventions required with the latest information on the issues relating to womens development in the field of education, economic independence, health, legal rights and thereby promote gender sensitivity. The programme was attended by 14 participants drawn from J&K Govt. Besides Prof Sunita Zalpuri, Prof. Rekha Chowdhary. And Prof. Reeta Jitender interacted with the participants. Ethics in Public Govrnance(13 th -15 th Dec, 2016) Three days programme on Ethics & Governance was organized under the course coordinatorship of Prof, Sunita Zalpuri. The programme was attended by 14 senior level officrs from different departments of J&K Govt. Besides Prof Sunita Zalpuri Prof Rekha Chowdhary, Sh. Sheikh Shakeel and Sh G.R ghani interacted with the participants.
8 CENTRE FOR URBAN AFFAIRS AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT Report of Training Programme On Budget Formulation in Government 17 th to 19 th October 2016 Three days training programme on Budget Formulation in Government w.e.f. 17 th to 19 th October 2016 was organized under the Course Coordinatorship o Dr. Neena Bhalla, Associate Professor, Financial Management, J&K IMPARD Jammu. The Programme was attended by 10 participants from different departments of J&K Government. The main objectives of the training programme were: This course will enable the participants to optimum utilization o Public funds. To evaluate the performance of utilization of the funds. To equipped them with financial implication of fund by keeping the overall scenario of state finance in mind. Report of Training Programme On Pria-Soft 13 th to 15 th September 2016 Three days training programme on Pria-Soft w.e.f. 13 th to 15 th September 2016 was organized under the Course Coordinatorship of Dr. Neena Bhalla Associate Professor, Financial Management, J&K IMPARD, Jammu. The Programme was attended by 20 participants from different departments of J&K Government The main objectives of the training programme were: To facilitate better financial management of Panchayati Ra Institution. To bring transparency and accountability in the maintenance o accounts. To strengthening the Panchyati Raj Institution by equipped them by double entry systems for better credibility.
9 Training Programme on Training Needs Assessment Three days Training Programme on Training Need Assessment was organised by J&K IMPARD Jammu from to under course coordinatorship of Ms. Manju Kapoor Assistant Professor and Consultant for TNA. In this training programme, Trainers/officers from Revenue Training lnstitute, DIET and Handicrafts Dept. attended the course. The program was organized to acquaint the participants about latest Tools and Techniques of TNA and systematic Training approach, in order to make training effective, organized, and beneficial for the trainers and trainees working in various training institutes and Government Departments.
10 Report for Foundation/Secretariats Assistant Training Course for Junior Assistants Three months Foundation/Secretariat Assistant Training Course in two batches for Junior Assistants has commenced from at J&K IMPA&RD, Jammu under the Course Coordinator ship of Dr. Jyoti Sadhu, Research Officer. The Training Programme is attended by 162 Junior Assistants from different departments of J&K Government & Secretariat Services. The trainees are divided into batches. One batch is attending training in morning and other batch in the afternoon. The main objectives of the training are:- To familiarize the participants with provisions of J&K Manual of Secretariat procedures, CSR, Financial Code, Classification, Control and Appeal Rules. Inculcating basic values, attitudes and spirit of team work. Application of Financial and Accounts rules. Acquaintance with basic Computers skills for e-governance. Developing positive, motivated, results oriented attitudes. To familiarize the participants with brief history, geographical features, culture and constitute of J&K State with special reference to article. The training programme will conclude on The guest speakers who delivered the lectures are drawn from Finance Department of J&K Government and IMPA faculties also interacted with the participants. Besides this a few faculties were invited from other educational institutions also.
