1 2018 CTC Academic Scholarship Purpose: The CTC Academic Scholarship is for students who are attending college or other types of technical training following high school. Scholarship awards are to be used for tuition, books and other expenses incurred at the post-secondary institution. Amount: $500 - $1,500 Eligibility: o Senior (Early College students may apply.) o Attended CTC for the full school-year o B or higher grade in CTC program for first semester o Earned full credit for first semester of school-year Requirements: o Complete the application online at No handwritten applications will be accepted. o Two letters of recommendation (may use CTC Recommendation Form) o Copy of an acceptance letter from a college or technical school o Current resume o A copy of your high school transcript through fall semester, Attach all documents to the cover sheet when submitting your application. Due: Applications must be turned into Student Services by 3:00 PM Friday, March 16, 2018 Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Interviews: After selection committee reviews all applications, an interview will be scheduled for qualified applicants. Interviews will be scheduled on Monday and Tuesday, April 16 and April 17, At the interview, the applicant will be asked to give a short presentation demonstrating a skill the applicant learned in the CTC program. Professional dress and demeanor are an important part of the interview.
