2 FAAP was founded in 1947 as a small foundation designed to develop Fine Arts. Today, it is considered one of the most respected higher education institutions in Brazil. Its main campus in São Paulo city houses the following schools: Business, Fine Arts, Communication and Marketing, Law, Economics and International Relations and Engineering, besides FAAP Graduate School and FAAP High School. WHY faap? FAAP s programs are recognized by the Ministry of Education of Brazil and have long-standing reputation in the country. The foundation is not only a school; it is also one of the most renowned centers supporting arts and culture in the state of São Paulo. These activities are developed by the Museum of Brazilian Art, the FAAP-Theater and the Artistic Residence, turning the campus atmosphere into a perfect blend of education, art and culture; an unforgettable experience for international students. FAAP s campuses are equipped with state of the art facilities and wireless technology. Smart boards have replaced whiteboards in the classroom and the channels of communication with the students use e learning tools, such as Blackboard and Adobe Connect. Life on the campus is busy; the schools offer a wide range of extension activities and seminars, with the participation of renowned speakers, such as Ministers of State, Prime Ministers, Presidents and Governors. FAAP is an international institution. Our partners are on the five continents, in more than 50 countries. Such internationalization offers more than 380 options for exchange and opportunities of dual degree programs to students. Social responsibility is a commitment at FAAP; the foundation runs many charitable projects involving its students.
