Kyle Oosterhouse 18, Supply Chain and Operations Management major, interned with the global consumer and media analytics company, Nielsen, as part of their Emerging Leaders Program. Starting the first year, we help students plan for careers. Our Center for Career Exploration and Success begins working with students their very first year on campus. It s part of our four-year program to put students on the path to career success through hundreds of workshops, seminars, employment databases, and on-campus internship and job fairs. FOUR-YEAR GUARANTEED MIAMI UNIVERSITY S TUITION PROMISE TUITION PROGRAM Fall 2018 Merit Scholarships Miami University is pleased to offer merit scholarships to academically accomplished first-year, full-time undergraduate students who enroll on the Oxford campus for Fall The application for admission is used to determine merit scholarship eligibility no additional form is required. Applicants not meeting the above criteria will be considered for a full range of merit and need-based scholarships ranging up to full tuition annually. Scholarships and award amounts may be determined by additional factors including diversity, audition, portfolio, intended area of interest, and athletic ability. Scholarship offers and award amounts will be determined by a holistic review of the application for admission and thorough evaluation of academic indicators, including (but not limited to) rigor of coursework, high school GPA, and standardized test scores. Admission decisions will be based on the official testing and high school transcript information submitted to Miami University at the time of application. 11 Fall 2018 Merit Scholarships continued TEST SCORE: No preference is given for ACT or SAT; Miami superscores, using the highest test scores submitted for admission and scholarship consideration. For ACT, the highest scores for each subtest from different exams will determine a combined highest composite score. For SAT, the best Evidence-Based Reading and Writing (ERW) and Math (M) subscores will be used to calculate a maximum single score. For students with scores from the previous SAT (administered through January 2016), the best Critical Reading (CR) and Math (M) subscores will be used to calculate a maximum single score. Miami University does not superscore across the previous SAT and current SAT exams. SCHOLARSHIP RANGE: Based on tuition and fees. Financial need is determined by the FAFSA. Students wishing to be considered for need-based financial aid are encouraged to submit their FAFSA by the Priority I Deadline of December 1, 2017, and no later than the Priority II Deadline of February 1, Students applying Early Decision are strongly encouraged to submit the FAFSA by December 1, Scholarships are automatically renewed for four years, provided the student maintains the academic requirements as stipulated in the financial aid award letter.
