Instructions Reference two reports to complete Part B: Viability Graduates and Graduates Report AY Evaluate the quantitative sources with respect to graduates, job placement and job openings in Pima County. State job information also is available. Step 1: Viability Graduates In the left hand column under Program Code, click on your program and answer the first part of Success Indicator 5 (below). Step 2: In the left hand column of the Viability Graduates report, under Program Code, click on each degree or certificate to view. If your degree or certificate contains concentrations that are not shown under Program Code, open and view the Graduates Report AY Step 3: For each degree or degree concentrations, whichever is more refined, list all that have fewer than five graduates in the last three academic years. Note: In some cases, to get your totals you may need to look at two to three listings for each program/major code on the Graduate Report. 11 PART C: Data and Trend Analysis All Programs/ Subject areas Enrollment FTSE Section Count Dashboard Reported for the previous five academic years (99th day data) for fall and spring semesters with seat counts, FTSE and Section (CRN) count. Data Dashboards will be posted to MyPima>Intranet>Academic Services>Program Services>Program Review>click on the Enrollment FTSE Section Count Dashboard Instructions: Step 1: On the left hand column under SUBJECT Code select the subject code for your program. Review the enrollment displays to the right, which show student enrollments by course (subject code and number) districtwide for fall and spring terms for five academic years. The report also provides FTSE (full time student equivalent), and Count of CRNs (Section Code count) or number of classes run for each course. Step 2: You can also select more than one subject code for those programs that have multiple subject codes, such as Aviation Technology, which has ATT and AVM. First click on ATT, then hold down the control key and select the next subject code and left click your mouse. You should see both subjects highlighted. Step 3: Go to the College Web page, Programs & Courses to find listings for degrees and certificates. Step 4: In the table area under Course, click on the filter icon, then click select all. The check mark then should disappear. While still in the filter view, scroll down to find and check mark each CORE subject area(s) and course number in your degrees or certificates. Click OK. You should see a list of your CORE courses for the degree or certificate. (Optional) Step 5: Follow Steps 2 to 4 for each degree and/or certificate offered by your program/subject area. Note: The most recent semester is furthest to the right. Click on the filter icon to clear your search. Districtwide seat count in core courses: Review seat count (enrollment) in each core course for at least the last three academic years (See Filter by Term). Core Course enrollment should show a consistent seat count from semester to semester. Identify the degree, degree concentration, certificate, or certificate concentration you are reviewing Identify any core courses that do not follow a consistent pattern for enrollment for the program/subject area degree/certificate you are reviewing. Analyze core course enrollment trends: Explain the committee s analysis of the program s core course enrollment. Document your analysis of core course enrollment districtwide. Discuss the program/subject course weaknesses and/ or needs for improvement. Are there courses that students are not completing or that fewer students completing compared to other courses? Suggest ways to improve course completion. When reviewing the core courses, did you compare offerings by campus? What were your findings? 12 Review low-enrollment courses. This may show where students are opting out. Provide a detailed explanation of your observations of course enrollments Suggest how to improve enrollments in low-enrollment courses. Student Needs Briefly discuss how effectively the program addresses students needs relative to current, past and projected program and College student success rates. Identify and include in your discussion any unmet student needs. Adequacy of Resources Facilities and Equipment Evaluation Summarize the adequacy of the equipment, laboratory space, facilities, operational funds, library resources, etc., for the program. Evaluate the impact of programmatic changes or other measures implemented to improve student success or address unmet needs with respect to diversity, age and gender. Awards and Recognition Describe any external awards or other recognitions received by students, faculty and-or the program/subject area during the past four years.
