1 No. CEE/3737/2012/CAP-2013/TA1 Government of Kerala Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations Housing Board Buildings, Santhi Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram NOTIFICATION CENTRALISED ALLOTMENT TO PROFESSIONAL DEGREE COURSES 2013 (EXCEPT MBBS/BDS) The activities related to the allotment to Professional Degree Courses (Except MBBS/BDS) for the year will commence from (Friday). Candidates included in Kerala Medical (Except MBBS/BDS)/Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examination rank lists, can register their options on the Website from to , 3pm. Candidates who do not register their options within the stipulated time will not be considered for allotment under any circumstances. The Option Facilitation Centres [OFC] and Help Desks [HD], having internet facility, will be functioning throughout the State during this period for providing necessary help to the candidates for registration of options by the candidates. The details of such centers are available on the website, The schedule for the first phase of allotment is given below: Opening of the option registration facility Trial Allotment pm Closing of option registration First allotment , , , pm , , Candidates allotted to all courses shall remit fee shown in the allotment memo at selected branches of State Bank of Travancore (SBT) and join the Colleges where allotments are given. Submission of Non-joining report by the College authorities before 5 pm. Facility for cancellation of higher options and rearrangement of existing options. Second Phase allotment (Final allotment for Engineering Courses under Private Self financing Colleges) The candidates who got allotment under Private Self financing Colleges should join the colleges after remitting the required fee. The candidates who got allotment in colleges other than Private Self financing Colleges should join the colleges after remitting the required fee. Submission of Non-joining report by the College authorities before 5 pm. The students can exercise option only for two allotments to the Private Self Financing Engineering Colleges. There will be only two allotments in Private Self-financing Engineering colleges. The Candidates who are allotted to Private Self financing Engineering Colleges will have the provision to cancel the allotment till the end of the first phase of allotment. Candidates who get allotment to the Private Self-financing Engineering Colleges in the second phase allotment and those who remit fees and eventually do not take admission will be penalized as envisaged in clause (c) of the Prospectus. 1

Siddha Medical College XI Mandatory Reservation : Leaving the seats set apart for All India Quota, Government of India Nominees, Special reservation, Persons with Disabilities and Management, the remaining Government seats for each course in Govt./Aided/Kerala Agricultural University/Keraka Veterinary & Animal Sciences University/Kerala University of Fisheries & Ocean Studies Colleges will be distributed as per the mandatory reservation principle as contemplated in G.O. (P) 208/66/Edn. Dated , G.O. (Ms) No. 95/08/SCSTDD Dated and as modified from time to time. The percentage break-up of seats as per mandatory reservation is as follows: (A) State Merit (SM) - 64% (B) Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) - 26% a. Ezhava (EZ) - 9% b. Muslim (MU) - 8% c. Other Backward Hindu (BH) - 5% d. Latin Catholic s(lc) - 2% e. Other Backward Christian (BX) - 1% f. Kudumbi (KU) - 1% (C) Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes - 10% a. Scheduled Castes (SC) - 8% b. Scheduled Tribes (ST) - 2% The existing reservation policy in Government, Government Aided Colleges will be continued. The seat reservation policy and fee structure applicable to other Self-financing institutions will be as follows: Professional Colleges Government seats Reservation of seats 1. Government Colleges 100% 2. Aided colleges and Govt./ University controlled Self Financing Colleges 85% 3. Private self-financing colleges 50% 2 As applicable in Govt./ Govt-Aided Colleges Note: (1) Separate notifications will be issued in the case of Private Self Financing Colleges for the allotment to the Community/Society/Trust seats. (2) In the case of Self-financing Engineering Colleges under Government control and in Selffinancing Engineering Colleges under Kerala, Mahatma Gandhi and Calicut Universities, 35% of the seats under Management quota also will be allotted by the CEE. The CEE will allot only 25% of the seats under Management quota, in the case of SCT College of Engineering, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram. Allotment to these seats will be strictly on the basis of merit.
