QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE For Position No.1: Candidate must possess an HND in Civil Engineering or related field. A working knowledge of Computer Data Processing and previous experience will be added advantages. For Position No.2: Candidate must possess a minimum of the AIST Final Diploma, HND or its equivalent and must have at least three (3) years cognate experience in a Science based laboratory preferably in Pharmaceutics or Dispensing Laboratory. For Position No.3: Candidate must possess the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Agricultural Engineering Technology from a recognized institution with at least three (3) years cognate experience. Candidate should also be familiar with common Soil and Water Laboratory/field training equipment. For Position No.4: Candidate must possess a DVM qualification, be duly registered with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria and have a minimum of 4 years post DVM experience. Salary: CONTISS 9 (N 1,449, N 2,109,627.00) For Position No.5: Candidate must possess a B.Sc. Agriculture or B. Agriculture in any field of Agriculture (e.g. Agricultural Economics, Agric Extension & Rural Development, Agronomy, Animal Science, Crop Protection & Environmental Biology) from a reputable University. For Position No.6: Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma/Higher Diploma in Agriculture with specialization in any of the following areas: General Agriculture, Farm Management, Crop/Animal Production or Agric Extension and Rural Development.

3 For Position No.7: Candidate must possess a Bachelor s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a Bachelor s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or specialty in Haematology and must be registered with the Institute of the Medical Laboratory Technology with at least two (2) years working experience. For Position No.8: Candidate must possess either the AIST or AIMLT, with specialization in Microbiology/Haematology Technique and possess at least three (3) years post-qualification experience. In addition, applicants must have worked preferably in a University/Hospital Laboratory for at least two (2) years. For Position No.9: Candidate must possess Degree in Nursing on any medical related field. He or She must have at least 6-8 years working experience in a well established hospital. Preference will be given to a candidate with: active interest in Research at least 3 years of proven experience in Family Planning Training and Practice at least 3 years of proven experience in Research Development, Monitoring and Evaluation For Position No.10: Candidate must possess B.Sc/HND in Dental Technology and must be registered with the Dental Technologist Registration Board of Nigeria. He/She must have undergone a compulsory one year internship as well as the NYSC. For Position No.11: Candidate must possess B.Sc/HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/ Instrument Engineering and must have completed the one year NYSC. For Position No.12: Candidate must possess a Dental Surgery Technician Certificate. For Position No.13: Candidate must possess a post-basic qualification in Public Health Nursing or its equivalent. He or She must also be a Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with three (3) years cognate experience in Community Health activities and research. For Position No.14: Candidate must possess a B.Sc. or HND or Advanced Diploma of the University of Ibadan and Associateship of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology or Nigeria Institute of Science and Technology with a bias for Physiology/Pharmacology. He or She

4 must possess at least 6 years post qualification experience and must be ready to provide leadership in experimental work in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Salary: CONTISS 9 ( N 1,449, N 2,109,627.00) For Position No.15: Candidate must possess a B.Sc or HND or Advanced Diploma of the University of Ibadan and Associateship of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology or Nigerian Institute of Science and Technology with a bias for Physiology/Pharmacology or Molecular Biology or Biochemical Pharmacology. For Position No.16: Candidate must possess Associateship of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Science or that of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology. In both cases, the bias should be for Chemical Pathology and Immunology techniques. Candidate with Higher National Diploma may also be considered. Computer Literacy is essential. For Position No.17: Candidate must possess HND in Chemistry/Biochemistry Techniques with working experience in a Science Laboratory of any higher institution in Nigeria. In addition, the applicant must be registered with the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology. For Position No.18: Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in Physics/Electronics Techniques and should have cognate experience in a Physics/Electronics Laboratory. For Position No.19: Candidate must possess AIMLT Certificate with at least four years postqualification experience. He or she must also have completed the NYSC programme. For Position No.20: Candidate must be a Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife. Evidence of at least three (3) years previous experience in a research outfit will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in research and training activities of the Institute. For Position No.21 & 22: Candidate must possess a minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND)/Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)/Associate Institute of Medical Laboratory Science (AIMLS)/ Associate Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (AISLT). Previous experience in a reputable Laboratory especially in the field of Molecular Biology will be an added advantage. 5 For Position No.23: Candidate must possess an NCE, a B.Ed. or any other degree with a PGDE plus at least 3 years post qualification teaching experience. Salary: CONTISS 6 (N 698, N 1,062,683.00) For Position No.24 & 25: Candidate must possess an NCE or a B.Ed. in the relevant fields plus at least 3 years post-qualification teaching experience. For Position No.27: Candidate must possess GCE/SSCE or NECO with Credit in English Language and Diploma in Library Studies from a recognized University. Computer proficiency and working experience in the library will be an added advantage. Salary: CONTISS 6 (N 698, N 1,062,683.00) For Position No.28: Candidate must possess a Bachelor s degree or HND in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least two years experience in directly related work of administration and support of computer networks maintenance. Certificate in Microsoft products and A+ certification in repair of computer network. The Job. To install, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot and backup the Windows, Linux and Solaris-based servers. Specific duties are, but not limited to: Updating and maintaining service Performing scheduled backups of data on services for disaster recovery and update procedure; Evaluating and determining workstation configuration and requirements for end-users; Assisting in the installation of network equipment and cabling and performing setups to meet user needs; Monitoring the Library network; Assisting in evaluating, planning and determing new projects and executing existing projects; Performing Helpdesk activities; Administering the operation of effective virus protection on all services; Monitoring and maintaining network security; For Position No.29: Candidate must possess a Bachelor s degree or HND in Computer Science with at least two years experience in directly related work of Programming, Web Design and Administration. 6 To analyze Information Technology (IT) needs, design new or modify current applications systems; define system requirements; perform application programming; perform related programming work; develop proficiency in the design and maintenance of database resources; perform related database. The candidate s primary responsibility is website administration and management of the Internet and the Intranet websites. He/She must be able to perform all aspects of analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of new systems, application programs and enhancements; resolving programming problems and determining appropriate solution; designing and analyzing application systems. He or she must also be able to prepare system diagrams and logic representations; conduct research into available tools and technologies to provide innovative solutions to application problem; work with and provide technical expertise to client users in Applications design and programming. Up-to-date specialist knowledge and technical expertise and experience in the area of Oracle databases, C++, JAVA Programming, PL/SQL, XML, XML Schema Development, Internet related Technologies, will be an advantage. For Position No.30: Candidate must possess HND or a Bachelor s degree in relevant field or its equivalent with at least 2 years relevant post-qualification experience. Salary: CONTISS 6 (N 698, N 1,062,683.00) For Position No.31: Candidate must have completed one year of housemanship and full registration by the Nigerian Medical Council and the completion of the National Youth Service Scheme. For Position No.32: Candidate must be an Associate Member of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology (AIMLT). Salary: CONTISS 7 (N1,073, N1,589,508.00) For Position No.33: Candidate must possess OND in Health Records Salary: CONTISS 6 (N698, N1,062,683.00) For Position No.34: Candidate must possess NRN or SRN with SCM or NRM plus at least 10 years experience. For Position No.35: Candidate must possess a degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification registrable with the Pharmacy Board of Nigeria plus at least 2 years post qualification experience. Experience in a Government establishment, especially in the University Health Service, will be an advantage. For Position No.36:

7 (i) Engineer Grade I:- Candidate must possess a good degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) plus 3 years post qualification experience. (ii) Engineer Grade II:- Candidate must possess a good degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) plus 2 years post qualification experience. Salary: CONTISS 7 (N1,073, N1,589,508.00) For Position No.37: Candidate must possess Higher National Diploma (HND) in the relevant field with 5 years post qualification experience. For Position No.38: Candidate must be a holder of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computer Science with the relevant experience in network administration and maintenance of ICT equipment. Possession of professional certificates like the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and any other, will be an added advantage. Salary: CONTISS 7 (N1,073, N1,589,508.00) For Position No.39: Candidate must possess a B.Sc./HND Computer Science from a recognized institution. For Position No.40: Candidate must possess good honors degree or Final Diploma in Science Laboratory. He or she must be a Member/Associate of NIST with at least 2 years experience in a Science Technology Laboratory. Conditions of Service As obtainable in similar positions in the Federal Universities in Nigeria.
