Term Activation Monday, September 25, Students registered for the Fall Term will be ACTIVATED into the 2018 Spring Term in preparation for registration Applications for graduation in ConnectCarolina open to eligible Monday, November 6, students for degrees to be awarded in May 2018 Registration begins for all Graduate degree seeking, Post Monday, November 6, Baccalaureate and Professional students; for Undergraduate students with 8 or more terms in residence Registration begins for Graduate non degree students; Tuesday, November 7, Undergraduates with 7 terms in residence Registration begins for Undergraduates with 6 terms in residence Wednesday, November 8, Registration begins for Undergraduates with 5 terms in residence Thursday, November 9, Registration begins for Undergraduates with 4 terms in residence Friday, November 10, Registration begins for Undergraduates with 3 terms in residence Monday, November 13,

Pre payment Period begins at 5:00 pm Friday, November 17, Important: Students who did not register before the end of the Billing Date must pre pay or provide proof of financial aid prior to registering Tuition and fees due for all students who have registered before Tuesday, December 12, the Billing Date. (Students who register by the Billing Date must pay or defer tuition and fees by this date or their schedule will be cancelled and all their courses dropped.) Last Day for Students to Add Themselves to a Waitlist Tuesday, December 12, Undergraduate Maximum Course Load increases to 18 credits Wednesday, December 13, Residence halls open for Returning Students at 9 AM. Waitlists are then purged Last day to reduce course load and have tuition adjusted. Monday, January 29, (Note: Dropping all courses requires processing a withdrawal of 2018 enrollment from the University and follows a different prorated refund policy. See withdrawal policy). Last day for all Undergraduate students to drop a course using Monday, January 29, the web registration system with no grade recorded Last day for schools/departments to add or drop a course for Monday, January 29, students using the web registration system Last day for Undergraduate students to file an application in Wednesday, January 24, ConnectCarolina for degree to be awarded in May. 2018

Monday, January 29, Census Date Hours at census will be used in the official 2018 Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) calculation for recipients of financial aid. Last day for Graduate and Professional students to submit a Friday, February 16, 2018 degree application online in ConnectCarolina for degrees to be awarded in May. Last day for all undergraduate students to drop courses online. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 Drop transactions processed between weeks 3 8 will remain on the student s record with a grade of W (Withdrawal by Choice notation). Last day for graduate, post baccalaureate, and professional Wednesday, March 7, 2018 students to drop a course using the web registration system. Last day for all Undergraduate Students to submit Pass/Fail Wednesday, March 7, 2018 declarations. Incompletes (IN s) from prior term (Fall ) change to F* for Wednesday, March 7, 2018 Undergraduates Students. SPRING RECESS Instruction ends 5PM Friday, March 9, 2018 Instruction resumes 8AM Monday, March 19, 2018 Last day to withdraw for credit on student s financial account.
