Electrician Wednesday, April 13, 2016 Pay Grade LD (starting at $2,844 monthly) Graduation from high school supplemented by course work in electricity, and four years of electrical experience making the candidate eligible for a Department of Labor issued Journeyman's card. Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license. A candidate possessing a state certificate or contractors license in the trade area preferred. Performs journey-level electrical work in the installation, and repair of electrical wiring, circuits, fixtures, panel boxes, and other electrical devices and controls. Work is performed in varying weather conditions, often at moderate heights utilizing ladders and at times will require continuous heavy physical activity. Food Services Supervisor Trainee Child Nutrition Department Pay Grade 59 (starting at $2,122 monthly) Graduation from High School, plus two (2) years of experience in Food Services; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The Food Services Supervisor Trainee participates in a one-year training program designed to provide the skills necessary to manage a school-system cafeteria. Training includes extensive on-the-job training, whereby the Food Services Supervisor Trainee might oversee, with assistance from a Food Services Supervisor or Manager, an assigned cafeteria for extended periods of time. Training/Support is provided on hiring and training staff, assigning duties and tasks, monitoring work, ordering food and supplies, completing reports and paperwork necessary for compliance requirements. The trainee will participate in all functions of the kitchen staff assignments to include cashier, prep cook, cook and/or serving. Special Requirements: Possession of a valid North Carolina driver s license; Ability to pass a drug test; Ability to pass a criminal background check; Hold a valid CFC certification Perform journey-level HVAC work in installation and repair of commercial chillers, heat pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, other associated equipment, and control systems. Scope of work also includes, but is not limited to: leading a team, assigning work to semi-skilled workers, inspecting work of semi-skilled workers, assisting other skilled HVAC mechanics, working in varying weather, and working at varying heights.
