1 GRADUATE PROGRAMS IN INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT A One-Year M.A. In Integral Economic Development Management (IEDM) & A Two-Year M.A. in Integral Economic Development Policy (IEDP) A Groundbreaking Approach to Measurement and Analysis The Catholic University Of America Washington, D.C.
2 PREPARE YOURSELF TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
3 AN INTEGRAL APPROACH TO DEVELOPMENT What framework is needed to ensure economic growth and effective opportunities for individual and societies? This is the question our programs seek to answer. They are deeply rooted in the need to accomplish sustainable development through an approach that seeks to strengthen civil and social institutions, while maintaining an integral view of the person in society. Through interaction with colleagues, faculty, and leaders in economic development, you will gain skills and hands-on experience that will prepare you to make a positive difference in the world. 1-YEAR IEDM In the IEDM program, you will learn the skills necessary to design, implement, manage, and evaluate successful development programs. 2-YEAR IEDP In the IEDP program, you will take your skills in the program management and impact evaluation one step further and learn effective policy design and quantitative policy evaluation. WHAT MAKES THE IEDM AND IEDP PROGRAMS UNIQUE? It is amazing to look back on the ARP and realize that you were involved in each stage of its making: from the survey design, to fieldwork, to data analysis, and then policy recommendations.
