1 HLT52215 Diploma of Shiatsu & Oriental Therapies Registered Training Organisation CRICOS Provider No: 02394E
2 HLT52215 Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies Shiatsu literally translates as finger pressure, being a Japanese therapy whose origins lie in oriental medical theory and traditional Japanese massage techniques. The Japanese adopted Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practices and enhanced its methods to develop the unique form of treatment now known as Shiatsu. As a Shiatsu therapist, you will treat the whole body, as well as specific problem areas, by addressing both physical and emotional wellbeing. The Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies, delivered by EastWest College (RTO ID: 6148 CRICOS: 02394E), is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge to work as a professional Shiatsu Therapist. The Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies requires the completion of 22 units, which includes 19 core units and 3 electives including one from the business management group. This is the current Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies qualification from the Health (HLT15) Training Package. The units have been divided into 12 topic areas (subjects) so that similar and related units are delivered and assessed together to avoid repetition. Upon successful completion of all assessment requirements for each unit in this course, you will be issued the HLT52515 Diploma of Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies by EastWest College (RTO ID: 6148 CRICOS: 02394E).
