This 8-week online course helps you make informed decisions about your future through the creation of education and career action plans. It provides transitional career strategies and tools for those entering the civilian workforce or continuing in a military career. Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Course. Earn college credit for learning that you acquired from non-classroom experiences like work, professional training, military careers, volunteering, and personal life. Online college courses. Excelsior offers over 400 courses in 40 degree and certificate programs UExcel Examinations. Show what you know and earn credit for it. UExcel Examinations allow you to study at your own pace; then, when you re ready, you can take the exam at your nearest Pearson Vue Testing Center. I am an independent learner, so Excelsior College was perfect for me. I chose it because of the flexibility, the convenience, and the ability to prioritize my own schedule. The exams were particularly valuable: it was great to be able to receive my grade instantly. And it means so much to come to graduation. My next goal is to earn my Bachelor of Science in nursing.
