3 Payment Methods Student Payment For speedy and efficient payment to the student account, please quote with all submissions your: ID number, Full surname and first name. 4 Payment Instalments Undergraduate Students s Undergraduate Students entitled to Free s The student contribution fee for 2013/14 is 2,538 This can be paid as follows: In full at registration 2,538 or Instalment 1; 1,288 at registration Instalment 2: 1,250 (31/1/14) If on SUSI grant: 38 Students on SUSI grants must supply their (13 digit SUSI number during the registration process) and pay a fee of 38 which is not covered by the grant. Undergraduate Students not entitled to Free s Please ensure 60% of your fees are paid prior to registration and the balance by 31st January Postgraduate Students s EU Student 60% of your course fees must be paid prior to registration and the balance will be due on or before 31st January ESF funded programmes fees of 2,750 must be paid in full on or before registration EU Student EU students who have applied for a SUSI grant must be aware that they are liable to the difference in their course fee and the grant amount awarded by SUSI ( 2,000). This fee will be due at registration. Students on SUSI grants must supply their (13 digit SUSI number during the registration process) Non EU Student Full payment within 2 weeks of acceptance of a place Non EU Students Full payment required within two weeks of acceptance of a place. 5 Important Points to Remember Second instalment due date 31st January 2014 Late Payment Fine A late fine of 170 is applied to all payments received after the last day of registration 4th October All accounts will be blocked after this date if payment is not received. Third Party Payments (Employers) DCU does not issue invoices to individual Companies or students for fee payment. Students in receipt of third party sponsorship must pay their fees online during the registration process. An invoice may be printed online during registration ( Cost of Registration ) for your Sponsor. However your sponsorship is a matter for you and your sponsor directly. The fee liability for your programme fees rests in full with you as a student of DCU. Refunds PAC Deposit Please note this deposit is non refundable the only exception is when the student does not meet the entry criteria. Students are not entitled to a refund of fees once formally registered. Student Classification Please note that the initial status assigned to a student upon entry to the University will be applied for the duration of their programme. Students classified for fee purposes as Non-EU will not be permitted to change their fee status following admission. Students classified as EU and liable for the Tuition, Student Contribution Charge and the Captiation fee will not be permitted to change their status and will not be eligible for free Tuition fees following admission. 2 3
