However, students who take these courses at will receive credit for the course. And, instead of retaking the course, students may demonstrate proficiency in these areas by exam. This crosswalk is specifically designed to indicate how general education courses that are taken as part of an AAS degree at Central Texas College will transfer into a Core Area at Valdosta State University. Crosswalks for Area F and major course requirements are AAS degree specific and are attached in Appendix B. NOTE: Valdosta State will also accept other college level courses taken at provided that the course content and level are the same or significantly similar to courses that are in the catalog. College level courses taken in support of an AA or AS degree or courses from an AA or AS degree program used in an AAS degree will typically be accepted in transfer at.

3 Appendix-B Course Articulations Valdosta State University and Central Texas College AAS in Applied Management, Homeland Security & Emergency Management, Information Technology, or Mental Health/Social Work Specialization, Paralegal/Legal Assistant Online BAS in Human Capital Performance 1. This joint agreement covers Central Texas College () graduates of the AAS in Applied Management, Homeland Security & Emergency Management, Information Technology, Paralegal Assistant, or Social Work Assistant who are accepted as candidates for the online program leading to the BAS in Human Capital Performance at Valdosta State University (). 2. Valdosta State University will also accept general education core courses and elective courses for transfer as determined by equivalency of content.. A minimum GPA of 2.0 out of a 4.0 scale for all college course work attempted is required for admission. 4. agrees to provide documentation for any Area F or Supporting Course that is labeled as not intended for transfer, demonstrating that the course is comprised of degree level content with learning outcomes comparable to a transfer level course. 5. will ensure that all courses labeled as not intended for transfer shall be taught by competent faculty who are eligible to teach at the collegiate level as determined by s faculty qualification criteria. 6. Candidates for the BAS in Human Capital Performance degree must complete a minimum of 120 semester hours of academic work, with a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 or better calculated from all work attempted at. The academic work must include a minimum of 9 hours of upper division courses with at least 21 upper division hours in the major field. 7. Of the 40 semester hours immediately preceding graduation, at least 0 must be taken in residence at.
