4 Student - Faculty Relations Local Pastors are the reason for the Course of Study. The courses and interaction are designed to be supportive to the development of the individual pastor, who is pursuing ways to strengthen their personal faith and their ministry through developing new knowledge, skills, and capacities directed toward gaining wisdom to discern God s will in their life. The administration of the Course of Study is dedicated to supporting local pastors, faculty, and all aspects of the Course of Study. Faculty Evaluation & Development The Course of Study Faculty is well qualified and is very dedicated to quality instruction. They are evaluated on the last day of every course. The site coordinator collects the evaluations and mails these to the Director of the Course of Study. The director compiles the results and provides feedback to the faculty. The evaluations are taken seriously. Faculty revise pre-work, syllabi, text selections, other course materials, and their teaching based upon the feedback from students. Faculty participate in individual and Course of Study development. Curriculum The Course of Study is a year-round learning process including experience with a mentor and classroom learning. The MTH Course of Study School is mindful of meeting the needs of part-time Local Pastors only.
