A study examining how undecided college students make meaning of their experiences with two different approaches to first year academic advising at Miami University. Using a participatory methodology, first and second year students engaged in in-depth dialogues focused on the following issues: 1) how did the participants experience college as undecided students, 2) how did the participants make meaning of their academic advising experiences, 3) how did the participants experience a Living Learning Community designed specifically to assist them in major and career exploration.
