1 IMPORTANT GRADUATION INFORMATION Graduation attendance is not mandatory, but it is strongly encouraged. If you plan to attend the Friday Evening Graduation Commencement Ceremony and/or the Thursday Night Graduation Banquet, the information below is very important. FRIDAY EVENING GRADUATION COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY The 2018 Graduation Commencement Ceremony for Luther Rice College and Seminary will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 5:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Conyers, GA. The Graduation Commencement Ceremony will be a ticketed event. Each graduate will receive a maximum of 4 tickets. If you are planning to attend Graduation, you must mark YES on page 4 of this application, and on Page 6, you must put the number of tickets that you want. Graduates do not need a ticket. For example, if you are attending and coming alone, you would put 0 tickets. If you only have 1 person coming with you, you would put 1 ticket, etc. The maximum is 4, so please do not put a number higher than 4 on the blank. After the graduation applications are received, we will assess how many people are attending and how many tickets have been requested. At that time (April 2018), if we see that we have more space available, we will inform the graduates that more tickets are available. They will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. No extra tickets over 4 can be given before that time. THURSDAY NIGHT GRADUATION BANQUET The 2018 Graduation Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Snellville, GA. The doors will open at 6:15 PM. The Graduation banquet is a ticketed event. Each graduate will receive 1 complimentary ticket for themselves. Tickets for guests are $ If you are planning to attend the Graduation Banquet, you must complete the information on Page 5 of this application. The maximum number of tickets that can be ordered is 10. After the graduation applications are received, we will assess how many people are attending and how many tickets have been requested. At that time (April 2018), if we see that we have more space available, we will inform the graduates that more tickets are available. They will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. No extra tickets over 10 can be given before that time.

Please complete and return the application for graduation only if you have completed all required course work for your degree program or if you will complete all requirements by or during the 2018 spring semester. A copy of your completed status sheet MUST accompany the application for graduation. The application is considered incomplete without the Academic Status Sheet. (Every student receives an Academic Status Sheet when accepted into a Luther Rice degree program. Students accepted into any degree program after October 2008, may access and print their status sheet from the MyCampus website under the Academics section.) We have developed a function on MyCampus that will allow you to electronically track your graduation application process. Log into MyCampus. Click on the Academics section, then the Graduation Status link. On this page you can see what steps in the application process have been completed. You may us at Registrar@LutherRice.edu or call ext to speak with the Registrar s Office. is the preferred method of contact. Please check the website before contacting Luther Rice. After you have carefully read all of the instructions on the following pages and completed the graduation application, mail, fax or completed pages 4, 5, 6, and 7 to Luther Rice and keep pages 1, 2 and 3 for your records. Scanned pages can be ed to Registrar@LutherRice.edu. Students are strongly encouraged to attend. Students that are not attending the commencement ceremony are still required to pay the graduation fee. Diplomas and cap and gowns will be mailed to U.S. addresses 4-6 weeks after the commencement ceremony. *Only diplomas will be mailed to international addresses. Deadlines will be strictly enforced and late fees will apply without exceptions. Applications cannot be accepted without submission of the appropriate fee (see page 3 for a list of fees). Application Deadline: November 6, A $100 late fee will be charged for all applications received after this date through February 2, After February 2, 2018, no applications will be accepted. Status Sheet: Every student receives a status sheet upon acceptance to Luther Rice. A copy of your status sheet must be returned with pages 4, 5, 6 &7 of this graduation packet! 2

4 2018 FINANCIAL INFORMATION Graduation fees must be submitted with the application no later than November 6, A late fee will apply to all applications received November 6, 2017 February 2, No applications can be accepted after February 2, You may pay by cash, check, money order or credit card (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover). The fees are non-refundable if for some reason you are unable to graduate. Your student account must be paid in full before you will be permitted to graduate. Go to the MyCampus and login to check your balance and make any necessary payments to your student account. Payments made immediately prior to graduation must be cash or credit card only. If you received any student loans during your studies at Luther Rice, you must complete the Exit Counseling Interview in order to receive graduation clearance from the Financial Aid Office. Please visit to complete the Exit Counseling. Graduation Fees: Degree Fee Bachelor $ Masters $ Doctoral $ THURSDAY NIGHT GRADUATION BANQUET The graduate receives 1 complimentary banquet ticket. Tickets for guests of the graduate are $25.00 each (including children, limit 10 additional tickets). See Page 5 to order Banquet tickets. The deadline for ordering banquet tickets is Monday, April 16, 2018 at 4:00 PM. There can be no changes in your banquet tickets after the deadline. The caterer must have a final count to plan accordingly. Unused tickets cannot be refunded once purchased. The maximum number of tickets that can be ordered is 10. If more tickets become available, an announcement will be ed to graduates, and you can request more tickets at that time. They will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Banquet tickets will be mailed to you by April 23,

There is no cost, but you must request how many tickets you want on this form. Graduates do not need a ticket. Reservations MUST be made for the nursery. A reservation form will be sent in in the Graduation Information Packet that will be mailed out in March Any child who is not staying in the nursery will need to have a ticket for the Graduation Commencement Ceremony. 6
