6 Programme outline DOING BUSINESS IN EUROPE 9 hrs face to face + personal work 1 ECTS credit Understand the EU and how to deal with the challenges and opportunities for doing business in Europe Indicative content: Origins of the EU & its Institutions (Historical perspective, evolution in their respective roles ); Common policies; Strategic dimensions of business in a European context (How to start a Business; Identify & analyze risks of business international text ) Continuous (group work 30%) + final assessments (presentation 70%)

7 Programme outline CROSS-CULTURAL MANAGEMENT 9 hrs face to face + personal work 1 ECTS credit Understand the specificities of human relationships management in cross-cultural contexts Indicative content: Notions and consequences of culture; Culture and management; Understanding cultural diversity; Intercultural communication; Creating a corporate culture Continuous (group work 30%) + final assessments (presentation 70%)

8 Programme outline BUSINESS ENGLISH 18 hrs face to face + personal work 2 ECTS credits Enhance your business English Indicative content: English in a business context such as Negotiating, Meetings, Presenting of a business idea (pitching), Collaborating in a team Final assessment (video presentation of the pitch - group work 100%)

10 Visits BMW MINI Plant Oxford Plant Oxford is the birthplace and heart of MINI production. Manufactured to individual customer specifications, hundreds of MINIs leave the plant's assembly lines each day, off to meet new owners in more than 110 countries around the world. Visit BMW Plant Oxford to see how MINIs are made. Guided tour of BMW production plant (2,5 hours)

11 Visits Wychwood Brewery Hand-crafted fine beers and organic ales from the famous Oxfordshire brewer. The tour experience takes you through the brewing process of Wychwood & Brakspear Beers. Guided tour and products tasting (2 hours)

12 Visits Christ Church College + Ashmolean Museum Christ Church, perhaps the most majestic of the colleges, was founded in 1522 and is the only college in the world with a Cathedral within its walls. The Ashmolean is the University of Oxford s museum of art and archaeology, founded in world famous collections ranging from Egyptian mummies to contemporary art, telling human stories across cultures and across time. Guided tour and museum (3 hours)
