Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and course and technology mediated teaching learning process. iv. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in the Regulations. OR B. An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field who has made significant contribution to knowledge in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline to be substantiated by credentials. cum Director (UR01) 11. Centre for the Study of Social Exclusion and Inclusive Policy (CSSEIP) (Advt. No. 05K/BBAU/Teaching2016) (Tenure appointments on temporary basis and coterminous with the project) A. i. An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification in the relevant field and discipline and, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work of high quality with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/ or research/ policy papers. ii. A minimum of 10 years of research/teaching experience in University/ college. National Level Institution/Industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level. iii. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and course and technologymediated teaching learning process. iv. An outstanding professional with established reputation in the relevant field who has made significant contribution to knowledge in the concerned / allied / relevant discipline to be substantiated by credentials. Associate cum Deputy Director (SC01) i. Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. ii. 55% of the marks, or equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed at the master s degree level. iii. A minimum of Eight years of experience of teaching and/or research position is equivalent to that of Assistant in a University/ college or accredited research institution/industries excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and minimum of 5 publications as books and / or research / policy papers in indexed/isbn/issn numbered books/journals. iv. Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students. 6

8 GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS & ESSENTIAL INFORMATION 1. The University reserves the right to: (a) Withdraw any advertised post(s) under any category at any time without assigning any reason. Any consequential vacancies arising at the time of interview may also be filled up from the available candidates. The number of positions is thus open to change. (b) Offer the post at a level lower than that advertised, depending upon the qualifications, experience and performance of the candidate; (c) Draw reserve panel (s) against the possible vacancies in future; (d) Increase of decrease post under any category or not to fill up any of the advertised positions. 2. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess at least the minimum essential qualification/experience laid down for the post. 3. Qualifications and other conditions shall be applicable as stipulated by the MHRD/UGC regulations and as amended from time to time. 4. Reservations for persons with disability will be given as per Govt. of India/UGC rules. 5. Reservation policy will be followed as per Govt. of India Rules. The SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates are required to attach the relevant certificate as per format prescribed by the Govt. of India. 6. A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master s level for the SC/ST/PH/ OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category candidates. 7. Relaxation in educational qualifications, experience, age, etc. in case of reserved category candidates will be given as per Govt. of India rules. 8. Other things being equal, preference will be given to SC/ST/PH candidates. 9. Candidates with higher qualifications will be given preference. 10. The prescribed essential qualifications are the minimum and the mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. The University will constitute a screening cum short listing Committee which will screen all the applications received in response to an advertisement and if found not convenient or possible to interview all the candidates, the University, at its discretion, may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit, which may vary from post to post, on the basis of qualifications, experience, publications etc. higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. 11. The process of selection may be by a presentation/ seminar/interview, etc. or a combination thereof. 13. Applicants not found suitable for higher positions may be considered for lower position in the same area of specialization. 14. Canvassing in any form shall lead to cancellation of candidature. 15. Applicants are required to send Hard copy of the duly filled online application form along with proof of payment of fees and other relevant documents in support of qualification, experience, etc. to Registrar, BBAU within the prescribed date failing which their candidature will not be considered. 16. Candidates already working in Central University / State University / Deemed University / Government Department / PSU / Autonomous bodies, etc. must send hard copy of the online application form along with all relevant documents through proper channel also. 17. Applications received without the requisite documents and after the prescribed date will not be entertained. Incomplete, unsigned applications and those not accompanied with copies of certificates and application fee will be summarily rejected. 18. Candidates applying for the post of and are required to send their application in the prescribed application form, including the Academic Performance Indicators (API) based on Performance Based Appraisal System along with supporting documents duly signed and filled in all respects, 8

9 failing which their candidature shall be out rightly rejected as the same is mandatory as per UGC s Regulation, Qualifications/Experiences / Age, etc. as on last date of submission of applications will only be taken into considerations. 20. Higher pay may be considered for deserving / meritorious candidates. 21. SC/ST candidates called for interview will be paid sleeper class TA by train or bus fare through shortest routes as per UGC rules. 22. Those already in Govt. service should produce NOC at the time of interview if their application has not been forwarded through proper channel. 23. In case of the post to be filled through deputation, ACRs/APARs for last 5 years duly attested and Integrity certificate be sent in confidential cover addressed to the Registrar by the concerned Employer, failing which the candidature, may not be considered. 24. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection, which may be detected at any stage even after issue of the appointment letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw/cancel any communication made to the candidates. 25. After joining the service of the University, the candidate will have to abide by the Rules, Regulations and Ordinances of the University applicable from time to time. He / she may be assigned any duty within the jurisdiction of the University or outside depending upon the exigency of the work. 26. The applicant must bring all certificates / testimonials / documents in support of qualifications and experience as mentioned in online application form at the time of interview. 27. The University shall verify the antecedents or documents submitted by the candidate at any time during tenure of service. In case, it is detected that the documents submitted by the candidates are fake or the candidate has a clandestine antecedents / background for which he / she has been convicted by any court and has suppressed the said information, then his/her services shall be terminated forthwith and appropriate action will be taken. 28.
