Primary Author & Lead Researcher on Maine's Improving Schools: An Examination of Distinguishing Features of a Sample of Maine's Improving Public Schools, a mixed methods study analyzing student performance on state assessments over a four year period involving two-day site visits in 11 case study schools, including 200 interviews and 525 classroom observations. Co-Author & Assistant Researcher on More Efficient Public Schools in Maine: Learning Communities Building the Foundation of Intellectual Work, a mixed methods study utilizing quantitative school profiles and an internally developed index of predicted performance for 524 public PK-12 schools in Maine as well as 25 qualitative case studies involving 371 interviews and 1,676 classroom observations. Assistant Researcher on The Relationships Between School Poverty and Student Achievement and Pathways to Mathematics College Readiness in Maine, two quantitative studies analyzing Maine State Longitudinal Data and statewide achievement data.
